LAME QuickTime MP3 Encoder Component 1.01 (Mac OS X)

Export mp3 under movie

Hi, Is it possible to use the lame algorithm for the sound under a movie? I don't see the Lame mp3 encoder under the compression setting when using export to quicktime movie. Even-tough i do see it when just exporting sound. Best, Frans-Jan Wind [alert admin]

Skeleton Key 2.0b1 (Mac OS X)

Still no site

This app would come in very handy right now. Maybe someone knows a terminal equivalent? [alert admin]

SleepLess 1.4 (Mac OS X)

Sleep after all

So this works... for about 10 minutes? I use an old TiBook as a server. When running SleepLess everything works fine for about 10 minutes. I got "put computer to sleep" disabled in the sys. prefs. Maybe when I close the lid this get override? Services like file sharing and apple remote desktop fail after a short while (like the machine went to sleep) I'd love to use this app, for keeping out dust out of this machine :) [alert admin]

OmniOutliner Export to iCal 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Very usefull.

A little while ago I thought this would be a great functionality. I'd give it 4 stars for making this a free script! One thing makes it less useful, the missing indents, I know this is a Ical problem. But maybe indented items could get the name of their parent in their own name. This as an extra function. So stuff can get organized in a way in Ical. [alert admin]

Chop 1.0b (Mac OS X)

What MacOS can't do!

I've been using apache / php to upload files to my HD. Those uploaded files are not to be altered with the MacOS ownership and permission. I even had the finder crashed... This app is a releave! Read Quick reference, set prefs and GO! a nice extra would be visual feeback when a (large) folder is processed. [alert admin]

Galerie 2.0 (Mac OS X)

I do not agree

So you got more software for one task... be happy about that.
This piece of software does what it says, and it does it MUCH better compared to iphoto itself

It's free, and it's the best i've seen on versiontracker. So you OS 9 prutsers (yes that is dutch) go somewhere else complaining.

Here's my review

Pro

  • hmtl pages look better
  • intutive in use with iphoto
  • can make use of image magick
  • use of exif really cool!
  • navigation when in large photo view
Con
  • page links are too close to eachother (in between space is also underlined)
  • cannot change compression quallity

I also tried…

Sony Ericsson Clicker.prefPane, but this one is better, support for system volume! very handy when using mplayer to watch divx movies. Other then that, slick appearance and user friendly! [alert admin]

JES CopyLargeFile 1.1 (Mac OS 9)

Really great app.…

One little thing, when using 9.1 or 9.2.1 the app will not boot if not using the base extension set in the extension manager. Hope there will come a fix for that. [alert admin]
