SilverFast SE (PLUS) 6.4.4r3e (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
I have had a good experience working with SilverFast and am pleased with the results. To comment on the two users below: Vue scan is just one software whereas SilverFast has multiple packets and configurations for a wide range of different scanners. I am glad to see if there is a new version out for my particular model. I am sure other users are also. I can highly recommend SilverFast I am using it on multiple scanners as well as the digital camera version. If quality matters to you go for SilverFast. [alert admin]

SilverFast Ai STUDIO 6.4.2r9 (Mac OS X)
With the Auto Adaptive Contrast Optimization I could refurbish many images and even get all the details in the highlights to show. My favourite in this version is the print functionality. It is great to do it all in one software without having to jump to photoshop. The Overall workflow is very intuitive and I learned most features of the software by watching the tutorial videos on the silverfast website. Overall a nice piece of software. [alert admin]

SilverFast (Agfa) SnapScan 1236S 6.2.3d3 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
I feel repelled by the unjustified commentaries of the previous posts. SilverFast is the currently best scanning software in the market. The SilverFast User interface and features are so clear that every idiot can get professional looking images. Those previous commentaries are way outdated also. SilverFast has been available for a long time as a Stand Alone Application which runs very smooth. I can't wait for the next version, because SilverFast is evolving so fast. What a great product. I highly recommend it. [alert admin]

SilverFast DCPro 6.1.0d3 (Mac OS X)
As a previous SilverFast user I am already familiar with many of the functionalities of the program. This version will be a great help to me with my photographic work. The Raw format support works excelent and the VLT offers a great way to organize my images. The Interface is very clear and intuitive as it is the case with all other SilverFast products that I am using. The speed of the previews is also sufficient. The price might be a little high, but I am glad to pay that much for such a great piece of Software. Well done Lasersoft. [alert admin]

SilverFast SE for PIE 6.0.2d36 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
I am amazed by the user friendly interface and the powerful features. This software packet is worth much more then what it is prized for. High End Software for a low prize. [alert admin]

SilverFast DC-Virtual Light Table 6.0.2D16A (Mac OS X)
packed features of Silverfast. The VLT delivers good management capabilities and emulates the real feeling of a photographers light table. Pictures are marked fast, optimized and returned to the album which allows a very sufficient worklflow. The new version that I just got even has a full page preview. The power of silverfast just blows my mind. [alert admin]

SilverFast Ai Linotype 6.0.1d46a (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
piece of software driving the Linotype scanners nicely under OS-X. For the CIRCON I can live without the mid lens for the time being. The developer of SilverFast announced to support the mid lens shortly. The combination of SilverFast Ai and SilverFast HDR allows us to load a 1 GB raw 48 bit file, that we have scanned with the Circon in 1 second only, that is awesome! [alert admin]
