Fonts Manager 3.9.3 (Mac OS 9)
that no one has submitted a review of this software since 2000. I have used it for 2 years and find it an outstanding fonts manager. Very inexpensive, yet organizes many, many fonts. Never a problem with software incompatibility or causing crashes. It is on my list of my "cannot do without". [alert admin]

Apple Modem Updater 2.0 (Mac OS 9)
333Mz iMac (Rev. D) and a Rev A iBook, both using Mac OS 9.0.4. I installed the firmware update on both, though I had no real problems beforehand, but I assumed that AppleÕs recommendation to install this update was for a reason. Now both computersÕ modems only connect about 2 out of every 10 times that I try to get online. If I do manage to get online, the connection frequently terminates again within 1-2 minutes. I can only download or send email messages about l out of every 5 tries, and just as often as not the attempt to send or download is aborted before completed. I am very often unable to access websites at all before connection terminates. I am very disappointed at what this update has done to my ability to get online and to send/receive emails. This has destroyed my ability to use the internet. VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED AND DISPLEASED WITH THIS APPLE UPDATE!! [alert admin]

Adobe Acrobat Reader 5.0 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
download. It goes for a while, then stops with a message that says a certain file in the download is corrupted. Trying at 3:00 am pacific time should not have been a peak download period, so I cannot blame it on high usage. I have given up. Maybe Adobe will eventually come out with a download that works.
