Sometimes the simplicity and elegance of the Mac defeats us because we think things have to be complicated and difficult. The downloaded files are 'iScreensaver Designer' installers -- just double click them and follow the instructions to test run or install. After installation, check out the prefs for things like size, speed, and second monitor support. [alert admin]

These two superb screensavers are just a front end for one of the best wallpaper sites on the web at LakeDistrictDesktops.com -- I thought nothing could ever compete with Lance Armstrong for first place, at least not as my screen saver! [alert admin]

iEnable 1.0 (Mac OS X)
For an explanation of 'Internet enable disk images' visit: http://developer.apple.com/ue/files/iedi.html I used it; it works; it's free. 3 outa 3 ain't bad! Presumably it uses the Unix command to set the file flag, but the only documentation needed is to know what it does, after that it's plain sailing. One star off for non existent user info. Reminds me of the Admiral's speech on The Simpsons, "I am a man of few words. Any questions?" [alert admin]

DayCalc 1.0.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
size (not checked on iBook yet). Nice feature is weekend and weekdays are calculated. Calculation result includes both start and end day in the total which makes more sense to me. Date entry format reflects settings in Mac 'Date/Time' control panel which is a thoughtful touch. Much more straightforward for non-specialist users than the alternatives, so I suppose a conversion of weekend days to number of weekends and litres would just over complicate! [alert admin]
