Keyword Manager 1.5.1 (Mac OS X)

Dock crashing

I've started having problems with my dock crashing (only fixable by reboot) since installing version 1.5.1 this afternoon. I'm on a MacBook Pro 2.5 GHz, 4 GB of RAM, 70 GB free on the hard drive and I'm running iPhoto '08 (7.1.5). Anyone else seeing this? [alert admin]

Mail to FileMaker Importer 2.14 (Mac OS X)

Time is off

Strangely, it seems to import time received instead of time sent from Mail messages. We need the latter, so the time difference means I have to copy and paste the information manually. It would be nice if you could choose whether you want the date and time to come from sent or received. [alert admin]

Carbon Copy Cloner 3.1.1 (Mac OS X)

Download error

I'm getting an error when I try to download this: "Forbidden You were denied access because: Access denied by access control list." I also get an "Update Error!" when I try to download the update from within CCC. [alert admin]

Wacom Tablet 6.08-2 (Mac OS X)

Should work with 10.3.9

Although the VersionTracker page says 6.08-2 only works with 10.4 and up, Wacom's page for the driver says it will work with 10.3.9 as well. [alert admin]

Parallels Desktop 3.0 Build 5584.0 (Mac OS X)

Getting tired of this

Parallels' whole "you must login to download our free update" is a PitA. It doesn't even work most of the time! If these updates are so important, maybe they shouldn't be making it so difficult for their users to access them. [alert admin]

Parallels Desktop 3.0 Build 5584.0 (Mac OS X)

Account now required for free update

Rather than letting you download the update, Parallels now takes you to a login page! This is just nuts. I own a legal copy of the software (the full version of which is available for a trial anyway), and I resent having to jump through account creation hoops just to access a software update. I'm definitely going to give Fusion a serious look when the next paid upgrade for Parallels comes out. I can only imagine what a pain that's going to be when this is what they make you do for a *free* update! [alert admin]

Camino 1.5.4 (Mac OS X)

1.5.4 freezing

Since I upgraded to version 1.5.4, Camino has been freezing about once a day. Is anyone else running into this? I'm going to downgrade to 1.5.3 and see if the problem goes away. [alert admin]

I have not been able to get this to work since I installed the Mac OS X 10.4.11 update. Is anyone else having this problem? [alert admin]

I forgot to mention that I'm running Mac OS 10.5.6, no outstanding Software Updates.

Great program if you don't mind being price-gouged

FYI, it still lists the price as $15 here.

Apple Site: Incorrect Download Link!

It appears that since Safari 3.1.2 is part of the OS X 10.5.4 update, Apple currently doesn't provide a separate Safari 3.1.2 Leopard installer, although they do provide a Safari 3.1.2 Tiger installer. Their web page does not make this clear - it claims it will download Safari 3.1.2 and gives you the choice of Leopard or Tiger. If you choose Leopard, you get the Safari 3.1.1 updater.

Still no comics support?

I'd be happy just to be able to scan in current comics with bar codes.

*** Inaccurate Temperature ***

It's not the program that determines the temperature, it's the data source. Try switching to a different one and see if the results are more accurate.

Unsuccesful Trial

No, run as root enables you to back up your system files. Without it checked, it can't get access to those files, so it can't back them up.
