Mr. Tides 3 Release 11 (Mac OS X)

Mr. Tides 3 is great  

I have been using Mr. Tides for sometime now, both the X and the 3 versions. I have checked the tide tables that it generates with the local tables and found they match. I recently wrote the author with a suggestion in regards to the calendar feature and he kindly added it to the program, thank you very much. [alert admin]

ProVoc 4.2.1 (Mac OS X)

A program I had been looking for.  

Several years ago, I was trying to learn Swedish. I was trying to find a program for the Mac that would help and could find nothing that did what I wanted a program to do until ProVoc. I am now using it to study Spanish. ProVoc can be used for other word studies, I also used it to drill me on medical terms. [alert admin]

MacTopos Oregon 1.0 (Mac OS X)

DVD's are DVD+R dual layer  

I have received my copy of MacTopos for Oregon. I found that it would not read on my computer and after contacting James and Associates found out that it is writen on dual layer media in the plus format. I have sent mine back and they are going to replace it with 2 single layer dvd's which my drive will be able to read. My dvd is not an original equipment dvd but was added later and is a Pioneer dvr-107d. I am using 10.2.8. [alert admin]
