GIMP 2.6.7 (Mac OS X)
This is a fantastic application. People use to iPhoto might find the interface a little bit strange. It does take a little time to get use to the basic usage, but once you get it it's very nice to work on Gimp and, of course, there is far more options than iPhoto. I bought a small colorfull book to get started - and I must say I think it did help a lot. Now I can to some pretty nice things with Gimp althouhg I'm sure I'm far away from mastering 20% - if so - of its functionalities. I thank you the Gimp developers and all the free software community members for sharing this code. If you an amateur photograph, give Gimp a try! [alert admin]

I've tried the new version 2.8.0.722, but my experience wasn't too good. The new interface is more like the windows version, crunched with things. Some people like it, I rather the clean style (like in Mac-Gnome). But what made me return to the previous version I had installed was the quality. Sound and video were quite terrible. I tried deleting preferences and fix permissions but it didn't do any good. For me (Macbook pro1,1, OS 10.5.8 at test-time and 10.6.1 now) Skype version 2.7.0.330 is the one that works the best so far. [alert admin]

X11 version 2.4 was released. Direct download link: http://xquartz.macosforge.org/downloads/X11-2.4.0.dmg If you're still having trouble, try to install this new and then install the Gimp with the drag-n-drop method. I had also dowloaded the X11 from Apple's site, but I couldn't make Gimp work. Then I dowloaded the X11 2.4 from the link above and now it works like a charm (tested on Mac OS 10.5.8 and 10.6.1). Hope this helps

Can't see the benefit of this application ![]()

I haven't try the application, but apparently is not the same thing as simply "quitting the application", for it only forces it to pause, allowing you to resume afterwards from the same point (without lose of data/time already spent in processes?). To be checked, but that's what I understood from its description.

I getting the same crash when trying to disable the photo download option, also under OS X 10.4.11. To uninstall applications, in general, I usually use AppDelete for it'll erase many (if not all) files that the application build into the system. But you could also uninstall eXo Visualizer manually by deleting the "eXo" folder that it was created on: yourusername/Library/iTunes/iTunes Plug-ins This should done the job. Additionally, you can also delete the preference file "com.exo.stationery.plist", but it's not…
