4D 2004.2 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
I have used FileMaker for the last 18 years and have tried 4D several times. This version, 2004.2 is oustanding. It is what FileMaker should have been since version 6. 4D's design area, tables, and even their forms are by far easier to design, deploy and use. Report builder is much like Crystal Report but easier. Don't get me wrong...you do need to know how databases work. Nevertheless, 4D 2004.2 is awesome and I am switching. So long FileMaker. Circus Ponies NoteBook 1.2 (v181) (Mac OS X)
I tried this software as well as AquaMinds' Notetaker (www.aquaminds.com). Theirs is much better and powerful. It can record just about anything and get more bang for the bucks. - Eric [alert admin]

Hi! I think I know what the paoblem might be. If I read your issue right, it is beause you were trying to install from the CD-ROM. Installers on the Macs whether it is for the Mac or Palm, does not like installing directly from the CD unless the directions state so. It is best to drag the "img" files or even folders with the installers on your Macintosh and then install it…
