Raptor 1.0.0 (Mac OS X)
Wow, it seems like they paid a fortune for the software. People, it's FREE. If it does not makes what you like, write your own. The developer does not deserve such bashing. [alert admin]

The Filter 2.4.3.1 (Mac OS X)
When I first tried this, I was expecting weeks of 'analyzing' my 19,000 songs, just like Music IP and BeatTunes do. To my surprise, it was ready in minutes, and to be fair, it does a job almost as good as their paid competitors. MusicIP is frozen in time; the original developer sold it and nobody cares much about it any longer, and BeatTunes seems limited by it's own conception rules. I'll stick to The Filter: the price is unbeatable, and it works well enough for me. [alert admin]

Nem 1.2 (Mac OS X)
Very good application, did what I needed without a hitch. For my personal taste, I would add the option to replace underscores with spaces, but it did it with the default replace option. Congrats! [alert admin]

DVD Spanner 0.2 (Mac OS X)
I've used it to backup a whole music library, 22 DVDs in all. But in the 10th DVD the media was faulty, If it happens to you, keep the faulty media at hand. Then, let the backup proceed until the end. Start it over again, and use the faulty media to skip volumes until the missing one. Then inser a new media and you're done. Conclusion: there should be an easier way to record only one volume of a series, to replace faulty media. [alert admin]

SoundSource 1.2 (Mac OS X)
Sometimes you don't realize how badly you need a tool, until you find a little gem like this. It was frustrating alterning between my USB headset and the Optical Out in my Mini, but then came SoundSource, and now all is well. Congratulations on a fine piece of work! [alert admin]

Camouflage 1.2 (Mac OS X)
if only we had a way to turn the icons back on without having to quit the application... Or did I miss something? I could not find a way to do it. [alert admin]

Same problem here; I got 10.5.2 running from an external FireWire drive, and the updater says it can't do it.

Agreed in full. Another utility: if you have a Logitech 350 headset plugged in, the option key won't work. And I don't have to wait for the boot to choose.

Strange product, doubtful if it's useful
You do not know what you are talking about. Altough it's primary function is NOT managing your collection, indeed it DOES edit ID3 tags, and it DOES find duplicates. Oh, and it is WAY smarter and faster than Itunes to rescan the music lybrary, that can be anywhere in your devices (even external ones). Get a deep breath and explore the software before moaning.
