10.4.9 dual G5 Audiophile 2496 even with 2.0.6 I get kernel panics on boot unless I remove all login items I have de-installed the Audiophile software [alert admin]

scrolling with EndNote bibliography
problem with scrolling a Word document with an EndNote formatted bibliography with Mighty Mouse scroll wheel continues, that is the scrolling fails and then on a click jumps many pages, sigh [alert admin]

Now Up-to-Date & Contact 5.0.4 (Mac OS X)
reminders are still a problem, they just stop coming up from time to time
I have obtained the tech support page for reminders and done it all
still, they just stop coming up from time to time
am soooo tired of it
problem has been around for a long time, not unique to 5.0.4
if there a max file size?

after install was ok <br> after reboot <br> icons come up in the menu bar but are dead <br> as are all icons to the right of the NOW icons <br> ideas? <br> [alert admin]

so 5.0 works on my Kerberos v5 setup, MacOS10.4.1
but
5.0.1 does not, Fetch hangs with spinning beach ball [alert admin]

Endnote and Norton Antivirus Autoprotect
further on Endnote and Norton Antivirus Autoprotect
fired up an old Word doc and unformatted, went fine
then tried to reformat with Endnote 8, crashed
then turned off Norton Antivirus Autoprotect and wala, it worked fine
would appear on my system Norton Antivirus Autoprotect is a killer app for Endnote 8
further
tried to copy all references from one library and paste into another
with Norton Antivirus Autoprotect on it failed
with Norton Antivirus Autoprotect off it worked

EndNote 8.0 (Mac OS X)
Used version 7 for months and worked fine. Recently obtained Version 8 and will not connect reliably to PubMed. Appears that problem goes away if Norton Antivirus Autoprotect is turned off. Called EndNote tech support who said "have not heard of this problem". [alert admin]

5.0.2 seems ok here tech support has been very helpful to me, have you tried emailing them and getting this fixed
