Delivery Status 4.5 (Mac OS X)

Since the first version...

I have been using Delivery Status since day one... recently after purchasing and iPhone I wanted this on my iphone as well. which it is now as Delivery Satus Touch. I contacted the developer of both these wonderful products and have been asked to beta test this new version as well the iphone beta version. Let me say that it is my most used application in the past month. Excellent is not the word. Everything you want to track and monitor a delivery with most Delivery Services in the world is here. Yes some are not but the majority are available. I recently had a package delivered from Thailand which is not listed BUT Canada Post tracks it for me which is included in Delivery Status and Touch. It works, it rocks, information at your fingertips for both the Mac and iPhone. I recommend this to anyone who needs to track shipments. [alert admin]

Retrospect 6 Driver Update 6.1.14.101 (Mac OS X)

It works

I find it funny reading all the posts here.. I am in an Advertisement Agency where Retrospect has been for years of Main Back up program. It just works, I maybe have had three problems over the many years and with it was great support and answers to correct the problem. We are backing up Old G4's to Intel's to our one PC's all being sent to our xServe that is running Retrospect. It has saved us valuable time and finally two weeks ago had to recover a complete backup... and it did. [alert admin]

Symantec Norton AntiVirus 11.0 (Mac OS X)

No Issues ever.

Being the CTO for a medium sized Advertisement Agency we have always had Norton Antivirus Installed on all our Apple Mac OS Systems. We deal with many International clients that supply is with content to produce their Advertisement locally for our market. In this day an age you would think that multinational companies would have protection on their PC's.. not a chance. Norton has always caught their infected files and we have always had to tell them, with a big thanks that came with it. Has the Mac been infected no.. but we receive many files and pass them on so Norton has always come through for us. Yes the Mac will eventually get virus's, now that the platform is becoming more popular. We have never had any problems with Norton Antivirus in the many years it has been installed, from Administration to Production Macs.. not one problem. As for the ordering... now that I rate it -5 on a scale of 1-10....and India... I am fed up with Symantec saving money... I ordered it, easily, no download button of course... used the Chat screen on Symantec and called them as well....they could not understand me and I could not understand them.. it took over one hour to get a link to somewhere else to get the new version 11. What a waste of time and effort. I just received a satisfaction survey from them.. yes I will fill it in.. but I have done this in the past... and it did not make a difference, since it is cheaper to pay an Indian Support person $5k per year.. .instead of a nice U.S./Canadian Customer support person $25K per year... they can get 5 for the price of one! 5 times more bad service, etc. So installed the new 11 and not one problem.. works fine on Intel and non Intel machines... Glad to have this cheap protection if not for us, but for our clients who can't protect their own PC systems... it makes us look good! [alert admin]

DragThing 5.8.1 (Mac OS X)

Outstanding product!

I purchased a license for DragThing for our Agencies Mac Systems and everyone loves it. This program is so useful, full of many features and always works. I highly recommend it to everyone. I wish more developers would be as responsive and productive as this one is! Tops in all categories. Worth much more than what it costs! [alert admin]

FontParade 1.1.1 (Mac OS X)

WOW

Seriously we have 5083 fonts in our Agency and I have paid and downloaded all programs like this one...none worked. When I saw this posted today I laughed and said what the hell why not try it. IT ROCKS! After praying that FontReserve Server would not crash after temporarily turning on all our fonts.. which it did not... I started FontParade and it worked.. no errors not crashes, no freezes! I would love to pay for this comparef to the other junk software that is out there! We ended up with 156 pages of our fonts printed beautifully! Great programming, and great work .. one that does as it claims. It is simple and sweet! I highly recommend FontParade. Where can I contribute to this! [alert admin]

Fetch 5 now in beta

I am a beta tester for Fetch 5! I will be honest... it now deserves a 5 Star rating! This complete rewrite is worth the wait. It's functionality, easy of use, cannot be compared to others... Fetch 5 is back... and back with a strong OS X application that will put the others wondering what hit them.
