Bugdom 2 3.0.6 (Mac OS X)
Game must be in Applications Folder
Even though the updater asks for the location of the Bugdom 2 game package, the updater won't run until the Bugdom 2 game package resides in the Application folder itself. [alert admin]

iMac G5 (pre iSight). MS AutoUpdate told me about the update. It applied fine. Restarted Entourage, OS X asked about updating the keychain like normal. Entourage is running fine. Started up Word and it started extremely fast. No problems what so ever. Ran Repair Permissions just to make sure and nothing needed. Happy to report good experience. Happy to report same good experince on my MacBook Pro Core 2 also. Student & Teacher Edition of Office: 2004. [alert admin]

Purdue Football 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Doesn't do anything except show the upcoming game times and I presume the final score. What else should it do? Nothing. It's great. Justin (developer) is very responsive! [alert admin]

MusicTime Deluxe 3.5.6 (Mac OS X)
First decent release in a long time ![]()

I'd given up on MusicTime Deluxe. I had been looking into Sebilius or Finale but I didn't want to pay those prices. I was also trying to figure out how I was going to convert all of my files. I have nothing against Sebilius or Finale other than price to get going with them. Their "upgrade" price does not allow for MTD. After minimal use with this new release, this release seems to have actually resolved many, many, many of the problems I was experiencing with MTD, especially performance releated. I do like the new Handwritten font. The only problem I had was finding my serial number. I had one for 3.0 and 3.5. Neither would work with 3.5.6. Once I finally found my V3.5.5 serial number all was well. Hopefully a Universal Binary version will be coming along shortly. I hope to get an Intel MacBook Pro soon and I don't know if MTD works well or not with Rosetta. [alert admin]

The Sims 2 1.0 Rev D (Mac OS X)
After I installed Rev D, I kept getting a message "A required resource was not found". I found that if I reinstalled Nightlife or University after applying the patch, functionality was restored. [alert admin]

EasyCleaner 2.2 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
This not the EasyCleaner from Toni-Arts. Don't use this to upgrade that program of the same name. VT doesn't know the difference. [alert admin]

Comic Life 1.2.5 (v687) (Mac OS X)
Product is great - with VT was better
I have Comic Life Deluxe and it is great. I only with Version Tracker could tell the difference between Comic Life and Comic Life Deluxe and not have me download the wrong version. :( [alert admin]

Comic Life 1.2.4 (Mac OS X)
I have Comic Life Deluxe and VT tells me I need to update to Comic Life which is not the full version. I wish VT would fix this issue. Based on the web site v1.2.2 is still current for CLD. [alert admin]

coconutIdentityCard 2.0 (Mac OS X)
I like the program. It doesn't have to be a PageMaker application to be cool. I really enjoy it. However, version 1.1 correctly identified my PowerBook but version 2 doesn't. It tells me the range of being built but not where. If I give my serial number it tells me the same thing. Last, Version Tracker tells me I have v1.1 and I need to download v2. I run the program and it tells me I'm running v2 so somthing is a-miss somewhere. [alert admin]

I ran into the same problem "back then". VT did something to where my computers were supported for a while but my renewal now is up for renewal and only for three computers so I'm not renewing my subscription. It was great while it lasted.

I'd like to join in and try and help. Do you have your latest source available? I'd like to suggest that you change the version to 1.4.4.a (or .b, etc) so it's easier to tell if we have the UB version or the original version.

Forget the beta. The regular VT shows it also. Why did it start showing up now?

Does it matter who's problem it really is? This has been an outstanding issue for a considerable length of time with no resolution and it cost AOL at least 1 customer, me. I was a charter member of AOL, even beta tested before it was AOL when it was called Samuel on my Apple ][ and every Apple version since then. There was never an attempt by AOL to resolve this problem. I went through…
