Yep 2.0.4 (Mac OS X)

See no reason for upgrading to V2

I have downloaded the beta version of V2 and upgraded to 2.0.4 (demo version) and actually I don't see any reason for upgrading to V2. In my opinion adding support for other document types such as .doc or iwork files is no plus for the new version. The library gets very crowded and Apple's spotlight does a good enough job for searching documents. When I set the preferences to only manage .pdfs the other document types still show in the main window. I want to use this in connection with my ScanSnap scanner only for pdfs!!! The change of the tagging system from V1 to V2 is not working very well for me. I upgraded the database as described in the manual. Still there are documents which were tagged in V1 and are not correctly tagged in V2. So I think ironicsoftware still needs to work hard on this update. [alert admin]

Ecoute 1.1.5 (Mac OS X)

Works very well

This is a program I've been looking for for quite some time. A lightweight music player which allows access to your iTunes library without loading up iTunes which has become quite bloated with all the different features. I have used CoverSutra before but the I did not like because you had to run iTunes and Coversutra. Ecoute however, is running without iTunes and even places a small icon for control of playback on your desktop. Ecoute worked fine with my iTunes library and there were no problems in playback or in regards of the app itself. [alert admin]

PNGPress 1.1 (Mac OS X)

Works fine

This seems like a very handy utility for web designers. I just used it on a 592kb .png file and it was compressed to 388 kb without any visible artifacts. Speed is not really (Quadcore/6GB) fast but nevertheless the tool works great and does what it says. [alert admin]

Snowtape 0.4 (Mac OS X)

Amazing

This software is really outstanding. It creates recordings of your favourite internet radio stations seamlessly. It automatically cuts songs, adds album artwork and exports it to itunes directly. An absolute must! [alert admin]

Professor Fizzwizzle 1.02u (Mac OS X)

Absolutely great

This game is really one of the best games I've played in a long time. Neat graphics, good sound and superb gameplay. Even my girlfriend who usually doesn't touch a computer if she doen't have to loves this game! [alert admin]

Flamenco Metronome Compas 3.0 (Mac OS X)

The demo is very crippled...

Actually the demo does not show any "cool feature" at all. You are only able to use it as a standard metronome with a 3/4 beat - there are other applications which do this for free. I wasn´t able to play a single rhytmic Flamenco pattern. [alert admin]

One step closer

I absolutely agree with you about the gradient feature. This really has to see an overdo. It's so hard to get good results with being limited to only two colors and also the feeling of the gradient inspector is lousy!
