Cocktail 4.0.2 (Mac OS X)

I was wrong...NO additional fee to upgrade!! huzzah

There is no fee for this upgrade, and I will make sure to spread the word. Several calls I got from persons who told me that the upgrade wasn't taking their serial number... They will issue you a new serial number if you find that your old serial number didn't work, and they will answer your emails. They are very fast at this as well... They obviously have a good reason to need to issue a new serial number, and this is one of the few applications where you can assure yourself of this. [alert admin]

Cocktail 4.0.2 (Mac OS X)

pay again?... try Onyx!!

Used it since Jan 2004, recommended to all my clients, who all bought it on my recommendation. Past tense. Now I will uninstall it everywhere. Dumb, greedy, foolish. I live in NYC and work in media. Media computer support. For Apple products. It was not me who recommended to Maintain to re-charge for a product whose reputation alone would have continued to sell many new copies. Certainly I WOULD HAVE gladly contributed to inspiring many more of those numbers of sales after demonstrating many times a day what a great utility *censored*tail WAS.... Reputation is everything...and a utility is not an operating system. And greed is..greed. And then there was Onyx!!! [alert admin]

HighLoad 1.9.7 (Mac OS X)

huh?

What is the point of doing this? That's like saying, go out and start your car and let the engine redline until you find something wrong...more than likely doing that will cause something to go wrong. Full loading generates: heat. Heat = enemy to machines..particularly processors, which if you look at it, has a heatsink attached to it...for good reason... Machines do not have the ability to think things through, wishful thinking of their owners aside. Think it through....don't wish it through. [alert admin]

Acquisition 119.3 (Mac OS X)

kernal panic? 119.3

I'm investigating if it was the sole cause of a kernal panic this morning after installing 119.3....anyone else???? 10.3.9 Otherwise has been working flawlessly, had no problems other than the once in a while lockup, but it's not what I would call a hassle compared to the so-so performance I got with Limewire,others...but haven't tried Cabos... Only other times I've had kernal panics was messing around with multiple usages of the PCI slots with recording/ or multiple video cards [alert admin]

Cube May252003 (Mac OS X)

worked great the first time...

...but now there is some kind of force field in front of my weapons that only blocks my outward shots. I still get wiped out by the aliens et al. If I run backwards and shoot, the 'force field' lags behind a few steps. Was a lot of fun the first time I played, but now I get this weird force field every time. Tried deleting everything and downloaded a new copy, looked for preferences to delete, etc, but still I get the force field. What gives? is there a website for this cool game? Any suggestions welcome. OS 10.2.6, DA 733 G4. Thanks very much ecsslo@earthlink.net [alert admin]

No upgrade fees for registered users

I was wrong, wrong wrong. They were very fast in answering my emails...and I will make sure that everyone who told me otherwise knows what the real story is...they do not charge when you find that your original serial number has expired, they will send you a new serial number, and the miniscule amount of effort is worth it. An excellent application, always has been, and for me personally a good lesson to check things…

Don't stay connected

Yes..same problem. It did work well once I did a complete re-install of 10.4.10, but then it started dumping it's connections. It actually worked great for a day or two, but I think it muddled itself after it was shut down. Probably in that shutdown sequence it goofs up somewhere so that when you fire it up again it's screwed. I will keep trying the continued updates, I think he wants to get it right..after…
