PandoraJam 1.0 build 30 (Mac OS X)

Oh sweet PandoraJam, and now thou art silent! ;)

Love PandoraJam, absolutely - i'm a registered radiolover freak, and think that PJ is the bee's knees. I've been demoing for a few days and saw new build (30) notification when i fired it up tonight (build 27); Just updated & relaunched and now, no audio or 'control'-ability. I can't use the interface to pause, ff, and/or take volume up or down. It just sits at like '0' vol. Weirdness. Haven't installed anything else; Tried all the helpful FAQ schtuff ala Bitcartel (checked my flash install, ran audio midi setup, etc etc) and as an uber-nerd I'm puzzled. Idear's? Anyone, anyone, Bueller, bueller? ;) I'm unable to find build 27 on the net to reinstall it again and have tried a fresh wipeout and reinstall of build 30, no dice. Still love the software tho and execution thus far. Raindrops of love on you if a good soul has an idea (eatpeople ala gmail dot com) [alert admin]

MyMind 1.3.2 (107) (Mac OS X)

quick, small, efficient - the essential meat and marrow.

i'm working on a project for my job, trying to pare down some categories we need to focus on in the near future along w/ what needs to be addressed. i'd downloaded Novamind recently, which looks swell but for down 'n dirty, quick work seems like overkill. there's some great freeware opensourced-thangs via sourceforge, but out of the 4 programs i've looked at today (just w/ an eye toward mac software, mind you - not trying any of the java-based open-platform apps) MyMind just worked so well in the course of a few minutes i'm hooked. though i wish the author's 'donate...' button in the app had a link for the U.S. paypal version, because i went to throw $10 his way for the effort and it promptly took me to Deutscheland w/ euro$ and such. ;) nicely done app, small and quick. SonicMood 4.6.0 (Mac OS X)

grade A super delicious, already earned its $10 reg fee.

Thanks much, crafty coders. this is the bee's knees...really fantastic. i've just spent about an hour playing and fiddling until i got a combination really perfect for my ears - and all the presets were fantastic as they are. it took me all of about 10 minutes to decide to register. Proper respect and appreciation to you. [alert admin]

Service Scrubber 1.1.3 (Mac OS X)

Kudos!

Mr Maurer; you rocks. thanks for this great app. Services menu is, straight outta the box, bloated and useless to most everyone, one would think judging by searches on the net for how to 'pare it down.' I've managed to make it finally relevant on my mac...proper respect and appreciation to you. :) [alert admin]

Meditation Music 5.5 (Mac OS X)

great idea, smooth and nicely flowing feeling...

really cool little app - visuals are great, especially the rippling water/underwater visualizer... the music is great and i'm not experiencing any of the weirdness w/ loops not jiving as someone else posted; however, when in auto-play my system input (typing, making selections) is noticeably slowed-down...i've emailed the dev., hopefully my case is isolated and registering this def. seems worthwhile for computer-down-time background muse. ffmpegX 0.0.9u (Mac OS X)

thank the goddess/gods/dogs for the good kids out there..

magical stuff to those of you who contribute to/create stuff like ffmpeg(x); faster than QT Pro, access to a huge variety of formats...i just started doing some video transfers for my video ipod, and it works like a dream...i get an error message at the end when outputting h.264 about my FPS not matching, and the audio needing to be a different khz, but it still runs fine via both QT and (most importantly) on my 5g ipod. someone mentioned minimizing while using (in progress conversions) - good hint for saving some processing power, for some reason. if you seem to be encountering strange errors on a 'typical' mac system, don't forget there's great sites all over with help on vid/audio codecs/conversion in general, and this one in particular. essential and awesome. showers of good things to those involved. ;-) .:: using 10.4.3, 1.25 ghz powerbook, 512 meg ram. Red Pill 1.4.2 (Mac OS X)

big warm wet hugs and appreciation for tiger update...

gracias for you (and your friend Dylan's help) on the Tiger update... as someone else has written, i was so sad earlier today after installing tiger to notice Red Pill dropping blocks instead of glyphs. Cool to see you've modded code appropriately. Couldn't find your website on the link from the Red Pill prefs menu...site gone/down? ... keep up the awesome work amigo. it's something both stellar and creepy to walk in late at night and have the only illumination be the glowing green of your saver. :-) peace. Key Xing 2.6.6 (Mac OS X)

What happened to Key Xing????

i've been searching for a quick n easy way to activate some scripts i've written on my mac, and it doesn't seem doable using keyboard shortcuts in system prefs - unless i'm looking at it wrong, system prefs 'keyboard shortcuts' seem to only apply to app's (I want to assign scripts to my unused F keys on my powerbook); anyways, everything i'd read suggested that key xing was the grand thang - and when i check lumacode's site i see the message, "Unfortunately, we're not currently at liberty to say why Key Xing is no longer available, but rest assured that it's not a quality problem." again, WTF? i will rain showers of pure bliss upon you and yours if someone knows something...i am eatpeople at gmail dot com thanks! =david ;-) [alert admin]

edit...

Pls disregard most of earlier missive; Again, you rocks Bitcartel. Will be registering PJ quite soon. Oddly, I loaded the site (Pandora) and my volume was set all the way down on the site. I've brought it back up, and it reflects change in player when i open the P.J. app. So volume prob is fixed for most part; I still cannot interface w/ controls (upper-right, i.e. volume, play/pause, and ff) in my newest PJ build…

HAVE TO AGREE

...here's my .02, from someone who just visited realmac to check out the upgrade info and realized i'd have to lay down $25: i have no agenda - love the software...i drop my .html by hand but thought RW was cute and quick and functional and bought it (3.5) about 10 months ago. my disappointment is that w/ 3.6.1 i'm asked for $25 for an upgrade. yes - those who've been skating w/ their initial investment…

calling home to daddy....

hey mang, when you start making a living (partially, in full, what-have-you) creating code for macs, then by all means please start publicly squawking about a developer trying to insure that piracy doesn't squelch his bread and butter (apps phoning home). if you already do develop, whether your apps confirm valid reg's or not, good on ya - if not, pls don't be one of the people in a traffic jam asking why there's all the…
