Bug: Keep last # Days of Downloads doesn't work
I have VTP preferences set to keep the last two days of downloads. It doesn't work. It may once have worked, but now VTP never deletes downloads from my selected VTP Download location. [alert admin]

Software Update doesn't show it. Info page is generic. Apple Support and Software Downloads include it neither. In six years, Apple has not once updated one of its core applications independent of a Mac OS X point update. Is this a joke? [alert admin]

Babya E-Type 3.0 (Mac OS X)
The installed application claims to be a Universal Binary, even though Babya Software Group posted that it is Intel-only. Regardless, it refuses to open on my PowerBook G4 running 10.4.6. [alert admin]

I think Apple's code adjusts its algorithm or something, because your widget's count is already about 7,000 songs too low. I have a feeling neither is destined to be a very good representation of how many songs are actually sold. Would be nice if yours worked, though, because Apple's count slows to a crawl as soon as the album covers start scrolling. [alert admin]

license appeared despite app switch
Normally, when VTP is going to show me a license for a disk image, it fails to do so if I've first switched to a different application, putting VTP in the background. However, today, when installing Camino 1.0rc1, it worked. It still doesn't let me press Return for Accept, which is flashing as the default button. That's annoying. But why did VTP bounce in the Dock to let me know the license was ready, instead of reporting a failed install as it usually does. [alert admin]

Sometimes I have occasion to be a little faster than VTP at updating an application. (Especially as I get used to doing things on its schedule.) Can you add the ability to recheck/update a single item?, so I don't have to rescan the entire disk. Since Get Finder Info is Shift+Command+I, perhaps Reveal in Finder should be Shift+Command+R; that would leave Command+R for Recheck Item. [alert admin]

Are you developing a background-only module of VTP that could run in a menu extra? What about a widget piece? [alert admin]

downloads abnormally don't finish until allowed to install
When there are multiple downloads to be automatically installed, they sit in the download queue appearing complete but instead of saying so, their download rates continue to decrease until they are allowed to install. This seems abnormal behavior. I would rather see a couple behaviors: - a log window showing install successes/failures so I don't have to wait however long for an install window to finish saying so - download completion and a mark of holding as if waiting in an installation queue [alert admin]

Make sure you've got Unsanity's Menu Extra Enabler installed so Cee Pee You will stick around beyond restarts. My trouble in Tiger, however, is that clicking the Cee Pee You menu causes SystemUIServer to crash.

You'll note that the link you clicked lead to a nonexistent download of beta 2. Change the 2 to a 4 and you'll be good to go. I've alerted OmniGroup of the unchanged URLs and VersionTracker has already changed its primary download link to reflect.

downloads abnormally don't finish until allowed to install
also seems kinda silly that unpacking doesn't happen as part of the download process, which would allow VTP to queue installations smoother
