M-Audio USB MIDI 3.1 (Mac OS X)
My Oxygen8 keyboard doesn't show up using this driver under 10.4.2. The people at M-Audio tech support say that there will be an update "soon." [alert admin]

I couldn't find anything on the developer's site about a Spanish localized version of this software. It's not a huge oversight, really. After all, nobody expects a Spanish imposition. [alert admin]

easy beat 2.1 (Mac OS X)
Since installing Tiger/Quicktime 7, Easy Beat dies during the "initiating Quicktime" part of the startup. They are apparently working on the problem. [alert admin]

Band-in-a-Box 12.0 build 23 (Mac OS X)
Really, really stupid installer.
Like the original Band-in-a-Box installer, the updater installs files in the root of the hard drive. If you've moved the original application, like I did, you'll have to move the updated files into the application folder. Argh. Learn how to write Mac software, guys. [alert admin]

Band-in-a-Box 12.0 (Mac OS X)
... and has for a long time. BiaB isn't the best at what it does, but it's the only one that does it. The UI hasn't had a serious update since v.6. It doesn't really feel like an OS X program (hell, it doesn't really feel like a Mac program). Adding styles is a non-trivial task, and the style editor doesn't seem to have been updated for years. But it does seem to work, so I give it credit for that. [alert admin]
