iZone Internet Turbo 6.0.31 (Mac OS X)
VT lists application as freeware but it costs $49.95? Downloaded application and tried to run installer...message said that it needs 10.4 and above to install (I have 10.3.9). Website also says that it runs on 10.2. and above. Based somewhere in the Middle East, and excludes US? I think something is strange here...definitely not interested in pursuing this app further. Flip4Mac WMV 2.2.1.11 (Mac OS X)
Have used this app for quite a while and have been satisfied with its performance. Unfortunately, I can't seem to download the 2.2.1.11 version from either VersionTracker or directly from the developer web site. I've had this problem with Microsoft for Mac downloads in the past (still can't download Windows Media Player for OSX) - get the message "Can't Connect". [alert admin]

FrostWire 4.13.1.6 (Mac OS X)
Frostwire 4.13.x will only work on Mac OSW X 10.4.. Tiger or later. This is due to Java incompatibility which is not remotely likely to be resolved by Apple. I'm running 10.3.9 and it will not open...download for 10.3 and earlier (from Only A Hobo at Frostwire website Forum/Software Support): http://rapidshare.com/files/17932462/FrostWire-4.10.9-1-OSX.zip.html [alert admin]

CleanApp 1.3 (Mac OS X)
A simple to use and useful little application. I haven't encountered any problems with either the demo, or the full version that I eventually purchased. [alert admin]

Yes...some of the .wmv converted files come out jittery, unless I run them with Quicktime on Play All Frames (without sound), or on DivX with Play Half Speed (no sound).
