Backdrop Folders 1.3 (Mac OS X)
great but lots of room for improvement.
As someone else mentioned the View's text color has to be customizable. My desktop background on the darker side so the only way to make the text readable would be to use a light View background color which I dislike. Also, if this thing had some form of collision detection it'd be awesome! Imagine the views dynamically avoiding desktop icons or docking next to another View or even a Finder window. I already paid for my copy. Hope to see any improvements soon. [alert admin]

Do Something When 1.0.2 (Mac OS X)
Really like the new features. A new bug has popped up though. The unmount trigger does nothing. Instead it triggers when mounting. For instance I made a script to change the names of a few library folders. -Garage Band, etc.. When my external hard drive mounts the library files are linked to the outside drive. Another script reverts back the folder names and unlinks them when unmounted. Instead of doing what it's supposed to it just launches the 2 scripts when mounting. Thanks for the cool add-on! Do Something When 1.0 (Mac OS X)
It doesn't launch reliably. I made an applescript (app.) to link my audio files to a faster external drive for GarageBand but it doesn't trigger. It did the first few times but no more..?.? If you could add that feature to launch scripts -not just apps. That would be great.. First fix this minor bug. Thanks. [alert admin]

Anyone know why this is needed? I can play soundfonts in GB without this plug-in for free. [alert admin]

Firewalk X 2.3.6 (Mac OS X)
Kernel panics are back for me running 10.3.4. Anyone have a similar problem? I already submitted a report to the author. If it was possible to have FWX work outside the kernel with the same performance I'd be happy. I'm also getting tired of manually setting up FWX every time I uninstall/reinstall. -something I have to do to get it stable sometimes. An export/import feature would be nice. Overall a nice firewall but I hope pliris keeps on top of things better in the future. [alert admin]

Audio Hijack Pro 1.3 (Mac OS X)
Okay, the UI isn't nasty but it could be much improved. I just wish it could be similar to Detour in some ways but that's just me I guess. Enhancing the sound is what I use it for most of the time. A pair of Grados or Etymotics, a few plug-ins (especially Canz) and it's like heaven. Overall an amazing app. [alert admin]

Firewalk X 2.3.4 (Mac OS X)
I sent a bug report a while back.. FWX is buggy again. Caused a couple of kernel panics and now I can't get the pref.pane to open. I really like this firewall but going about it in a very low level way can make the OS freak out. I'm going to have to uninstall & reinstall again. Kinda fixed the kernel panics before... LaunchBar 4.0.beta1 (Mac OS X)
I almost left Launchbar behind for Quicksilver but this release brought me back. Quicksilver feels clumsy in comparison and it's not all that stable or predictable but it had the features I always longed for. A lot of the requests I made before are finally here. Still relatively simple and super speedy. I'm blown away!! [alert admin]

ConvertIt 1.1.0 (Mac OS X)
The app is very nice but like the others said, what's with the whiny attitude? Total put off.. I'll stay away from this one. [alert admin]

Logitech Control Center 1.2 (Mac OS X)
How about some drivers for the MX900 bluetooth mouse? Works fine with expose for now but it'd be nice to have more control.. [alert admin]

A metaphorically visual minded review
I have to disagree with you here. I too have my mac very organized and I know where where most of my files are located. If I had to, I could get to it from the Finder in seconds but do I have to? No.. I can get to the files in under a second and if I had to get to the app (open the enclosing folder) a simple cmd-return gets me there. Invaluable for…

LOL! It's worth so much more than $20.. :) Just don't let ObjectiveDev know. We wouldn't want them to raise the price... ;) Heck, it's such an amazing app that I wouldn't mind if they did. Apple should hire these guys so it gets integrated & installed by default. :p Pay them a huge salary too.
