Facebook Exporter for iPhoto 1.0.5 (Mac OS X)
Mind-bogglingly stupid omission ![]()

This won't let you upload to the "Profile Pictures" album, and Facebook won't let you set any profile pictures unless they're in that album, and of course the stupidest thing is that Facebook won't let you add photos to the Profile album from other albums. So there is no way to use this plugin to get profile pictures up. Unbelievable. Isn't anyone thinking about actual usage? I hope the developers fix this stupid omission, either by removing the pointless restriction on uploading using this plugin, or by removing the pointless restriction on adding profile photos from other albums, or both! Otherwise, this works fine for photos which you would never, ever want to use as profile pictures! I am giving a low rating because the one omission is so glaring and pointless as to be absolutely inexcusable... [alert admin]

toc/bin format; working better now
toc/bin files can't be moved from the location they're originally created in without manual editing of the toc file. Who comes up with these absurd formats? I still get the failed assertion error sometimes, but most of the time it works now. [alert admin]

satisfied with the 1.0 version of OSXvnc that preceded this one, and I'm glad this one adds compatibility with Chicken of the VNC, but this version moves the command line server OSVvnc-server out of the /Contents/Resources directory, and replaces it with a broken symbolic link! So if you have any scripts or shell aliases that refer to /Applications/OSXvnc/Contents/Resources/OSXvnc-server they won't work anymore. Kind of silly if you ask me. [alert admin]

and I've giving it 3 stars even though it doesn't work for me (won't renice Filemaker Pro developer under 10.2.2: claims "No Such Process" even though renice at the cli works fine.) I'd like it even more if it worked right for me! [alert admin]

need to be carbonized; the unix command "rm" has the ability to do this already. Type "man rm" at a terminal window for more information. It's easy, trust me! [alert admin]
