JMP 8.0.2 (Mac OS X)
I've been using JMP since 3.2. I also use SPSS, MPlus, R, Statview (alas its gone), and on and on. The JMP software has rapidly become my 'go to' package. JMP handles a variety of tasks very well. Easily handles plot manipulation and animated bubble plots that aren't readily available except in special purpose packages. Journalling in JMP is excellent and the scripting language is very good. Powerful and useful software. I wish the bubble plots could be exported to a format other than Flash as Keynote and Quicktime don't play Flash any longer. [alert admin]

Chax 2.1.1b1 (Mac OS X)
The Chax haxies interfere with Papers db management. If you use Papers for managing your pdf database and develop problems, check the Chax haxies in the crash file. [alert admin]

NoteTaker 1.9.2 (Mac OS X)
I had a stability issue two or three releases back (1.7.?). The program did seem to unexpectedly quit pretty often. I sent a description to AM at the time this was a problem for me. They asnwered my emails made some suggestions that improved stability. The next releasemy stability problem was fixed. I use the program daily. I abuse the program by asking it to do exports for web pages. I keep my advising and consulting notes in it. These includes video, links, audio notes from my iPod voice notes, photos and other graphics. It has been a very useful program for me as a professor. I hope it continues to evolve and improve. BTW, I run it on my laptop and on my desktop machines. It is very stable on both. [alert admin]
