Maple 9.0 (Mac OS X)
Only Maple could take longer than Quark to release an OS X version. That's because this company has never supported the Mac adequately, and my guess is it never will. The only reason Mathematica doesn't dominate the education market is because Maple essentially DUMPS their inferior product into that market almost for free. [alert admin]

... This problem was discovered by our testing procedures a few hours ago, and Apple has now assured us that they have stopped automatic distribution of Security Update 2005-007 at this time.
