Xtorrent 2.0 (v83) (Mac OS X)
I have never heard anything good about this developer. I have notice since he released Xtorrent V2 that most all searches from within Xtorrent V1 produce an error and it is totally useless now, forcing me to upgrade, that is sleazy.
And there is no upgrade feature for Xtorrent v1 customers, very lame! I now believe all the complaints of his customers.
Stay away from this developers software!

Xtorrent 2.0 (v79) (Mac OS X)
I find the $25.00 upgrade excessive and I won't be upgrading.
I have heard negative comments about this developer for years/ I am a registered user of version 1 and rarely use Xtorrent. I did download the new version and can not see much different between the version 1 & 2. The developer claims "Upgrade to Xtorrent Pro for the most results & fastest downloads.", what does he do throttle down the non pro users?

I find the $25.00 upgrade excessive and I won't be upgrading. [alert admin]

Yank 2.0 (Mac OS X)
I purchased Yank 1.0 when it was first released. Yank was supposed to observe what files that were being installed on your computer when you ran an application installer/package so at a later date if you decided to remove the application Yank would delete all associated files for that said application. However, you needed to launch Yank and select the Application installer so Yank could observe where and what files the application installer were installing. Sounds great in theory but unfortunately Yank failed to work most of the time and often would freeze. Because of numerous problems I had with Yank I stopped using it. Haven't heard anything about it since today, when I saw that the developer released version 2.0. I don't know if Yank 2.0 works but I am disappointed that they are charging for this upgrade considering how poorly version 1.0 worked.
I wasted my money the first purchase I am not going to do it again! [alert admin]

Together 2.2.9 (Mac OS X)
Tried them all and Together rules 4 me!
Like the title says Together rules. One of the least talked about features is the ability to edit an imported Web Archive. I edit all of my Web Archive's and remove all the add's, comments and any unwanted information. Not only does this speed up loading of the Web Archive in the future because the web rendering engine doesn't have to go online and download the linked ad images but it saves much needed disk space. The developer is constantly improving and releasing updates. When was the last time Bare Bones software updated Yojimbo? Don't get me wrong Yojimbo is a great utility if you want a bare bones utility (no pun intended, honest) but if looking for a full featured saving utility then Together is the BEST! [alert admin]

Delicious Library 2.1.1 (Mac OS X)
Apple Design Award winner is a beautiful well thought out application, that continues to get better. Nothing compares with DL and now with the FREE iPhone application, I have not one complaint. Some users complain that developer takes to long to release updates/upgrades, I agree. However, I believe that the developer will not release an update/upgrade unless it is perfect.
I love PERFECTION and think DL 2.o has achieved perfection. [alert admin]

ExpanDrive 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)
Great application gets even better with new version.
I have been using ExpanDrive mostly to access a remote server and absolutely love it. With the new version 2 you now have access to Amazon S3 accounts. I now use it to access my S3 account and absolutely love the convenience. I rarely have to open an FTP application anymore. Once you log into a remote server via ExpanDrive you have full access to that server just as it where an external HD attatched to your computer. You can just drag & drop files from the Finder to the server sitting on your desktop and in Finder window sidebar. Also, all the servers you are connected to show up in the standard Mac Open/Save dialog windows from within any application. ExpanDrive 2 is a great application that just got a whole lot better. I love it! [alert admin]

ExpanDrive 2.0 (Mac OS X)
I have been using Expandrive for almost a year and rely on it daily. I log into my ftp accounts without having to open a specific application like, Transmit, Flow or Forklift. ExpanDrive 2.0 brings with it Amazon S3 support, thrilling. ExpanDrive is so simple to use. Each account appears to be just another hard drive on your desktop, you drag & drop files just like you do when moving files via the finder. I uploaded a 3MB file in less than 30 seconds with my 30 Mbps Comcast connection. I did notice that with the larger files ExpanDrive hogs all the power from the cpu and you can't work with the Finder until the upload/download is complete. So, unfortunately with large files over 100MB I recommend using Transmit or another FTP application. I would give a 5 Star review if the Finder problem was resolved. [alert admin]

CoverScout 3.1 (Mac OS X)
I have tried CoverScout with minimal results several times over the past few years as the program evolved. In my experience, CoverScout still requires a lot of user interaction and rarely comes up with the correct album art.
On another note, the company that develops CoverScout has numerous interesting applications but they over charge for all their applications, especially considering that CoverScout & SongGenie don't work all that well. If CoverScout ever evolved into an application that did download the correct album art for missing albums I would be willing to pay $19.95 for it but never $39.95.
I own a license for iSale & Stationary Pack and think both are top notch. [alert admin]

According to the Unsanity website (Developers of Ape), only Chat Transcriptor is compatible with Leopard, therefore, how could DF 4 be using APE if DF 4 is Leopard compatible? My guess is the decadence is wrong in his opinion that DF4 uses Ape.

No upgrade option for uers of version 1
I certainly don 't mind purchasing quality software. However, I do not appreciate purchasing software, have problems with that software and then in order to resolve the problems I am forced to buy a new activation code at full price. Yes, that pisses me off.
