PithHelmet 2.6.7 (Mac OS X)

Every Safari update = wait for new PithHelmet  

This is really obnoxious: I update my OSX and suddenly PithHelmet refuses to load. It doesn't say "Old version MAY BE unstable", it just refuses to load. Then we have to wait (at least a few days) for the new one to be available. I recommend that the developer either (a) anticipate and test new versions (along with thousands of other developers), or (b) allow US to try his older version with the newer Safari. [alert admin]

DriveGauge 3.0.1 (Mac OS X)

Not ready for distribution  

I tried to get this to work for almost two hours, but could not get any of the features to work as specified. Once I did get some of it working, the app was constantly confused about which drive was which, placing my iPod icon onto my main hard disk sometimes. *** When I took my valuable time, and sent a bug report to the author, and suggested that he withdraw this app until it worked properly, he FLAMED me and suggested that I was stupid. I do NOT recommend this software to anyone, due to the rudeness and arrogance of the author. (emails available on request) [alert admin]
