iClip 4 (Mac OS X)
iClip no more working under 10.6 at all
Having used iClip for years, it's a real pitty. Developer who was really responsive and interested seems to have lost any and all interest in the program by now. [alert admin]

SuperDuper 2.5 (Mac OS X)
for me way the best backup app ![]()

End of last year we changed our Macs to intel, at this point in time I decided to get rid of Retrospect which has served me over 15 years. My search lead me to SuperDuper!, I tried and bought it. Right away I installed Leopard, which was coming with the iMacs. This caused me a bit of bad luck, as SD wasn't ready yet for Leo. On the other hand, this caused me to try a few other apps but none of them compared to SD!. My backup strategy is now: each iMac has 2 FW drives attached, one for TimeMachine, one for the SuperDuper! clone. I find this combination great. The support by the developer is outstanding! One of my machines had an endlessly growing hard disk, what also created a problem with SD!. Dave helped me, and the culprit could get identified, it was a leftover from a tested application that caused 2 log files to grow way into the GB range. I was really impressed by the fast response and the competent help from Dave Nanian in person! I absolutely recommend SuperDuper! 2.5! [alert admin]

MenuCalendarClock for iCal 2.6.1 (Mac OS X)
It didn't take me long to get convinced of this great little program! Just a few minutes and I registered. It simply makes sense! Very practical and intuitive in use. No longer have to change full screen to iCal just to see if there'e an appointment possible etc. Really Mac OS X like! One little bug (?): shortcuts like command-D (for copy todays date) do not work here (yet?). don [alert admin]

ClearDock 1.4.1 (Mac OS X)
I found this little gimmick quite incidentally. I like the clear dock much more than the original one! When my wife saw it, she went enthusiastic and wanted me to install it on her Mac too! After installing I logged out / in, just as recommended by the installer, and cleardock works fine in 10.4.7. Many thanks to the developper! don [alert admin]

iClip 3.5 (Mac OS X)
Years ago I tried iClip. Unfortunately, at this time it didn't work with ArchiCAD. I wrote to John Casasanta. Within a very short time he fixed this issue! iClip has become absolutely indispensably for us in the past years! Thanks to John once again for this great product! [alert admin]

iClip 3.0 (Mac OS X)
iClip 3 is supporting ArchiCAD now, and thus became almost indispensible for us within a very short time. The way it is designed and works is simply genius. The respose from the author too! donato from switzerland [alert admin]

Very Aptly Named, Since the Sync IS What's Missing...
Strange ... I am VERY happy with MissingSync. Since Version 5 it even synchs the categories / Mac Calendars. I had not one error anymore since 5. I really hope you find the bug to make it work for you too!
