Apple MacBook SMC Firmware 1.3 (Mac OS X)

After installation of this update, cannot restart my computer (Macbook pro, 15inch, running last version of 10.4.x). The disk makes strange noise and cannot restart even from CD Techtool or DiskWarrior. Completely dead. Any help on how to ressuscitate the machine??? [alert admin]
