Photonic 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
I've been using this since it came out and love it. I just wish I could create sets when I upload. I just heard the developer finally has a new beta that'll do it! [alert admin]

Switchblade 1.0 (Mac OS X)
i love it. very simple. does what it says. turn on a couple of the dock-related options, and it's like a second, dynamic dock in your menubar! [alert admin]

Notae 1.0 (Mac OS X)
This app rocks - I've moved all my stickies and random text and web clippings from my desktop, and everything works as advertised. This will easily replace stickies, textedit, and even bbedit for me. No crashes, every feature works, probably the best 1.0 release of a product I've used in many, many years. Rock on, developer. Rock on. [alert admin]

Fax Status 0.3.1 (Mac OS X)
if it isn't working on your machine, your modem may have a slightly different init code. since that's what i'm looking for in the log... that'll cause failure. if you find that FS doesn't work for you, please email me a copy of your efax log file, and i'll add the relevent codes to the application. the file is /var/log/fax/cu.modem.log [alert admin]

Fax Status 0.2 (Mac OS X)
got it. if you redownload now, it should work. now, if the log file doesn't exist yet, the FS installer will create it with the correct permissions. [alert admin]

Fax Status 0.2 (Mac OS X)
i've received a few reports of this, but no one's given me enough useful information to definitively fix it yet. the problem seems to be that Panther may stick the log files in different locations under certain situations.
if you redownload now, the installer should complete.... but if you don't have a file at /var/log/fax/cu.modem.log, fax status simply won't work.
if you encounter this problem, please do a little sleuth work in the Terminal to find any files named "cu.modem.log" and let me know where it is and what machine, and what exact version of OS X you're running.
on the four macs i have here, and the dozens i have access to at my day job, every last one has the /var/log/cu.modem.log file, so I'm not sure yet when and where OS X might do different things.
