SRS iWOW 1.1.9 (Mac OS X)
I got this with the macupdate bundle as well. Beware the activation because I can no longer use my version 1.9 anymore after having to resintall my OS a couple of times. I emailed SRS labs and this is what they said: Hello xxxx, Please respond back with your registration number and I’ll reset the account for you. Kind Regards, Michael Gonzalez MichaelG@srslabs.com ------------ I sent them my regkey weeks ago and they still haven't reset my account. Oh well, I guess I'll find some other plugin to enhance the sound. I'm definitely not upgrading to version 2.0. It's completely ridiculous to ask customers for an upgrade fee so soon. [alert admin]

I've emailed these a$$holes a bunch of times and even tried calling their tech support number at 800-447-4744 ext.#4. No answers for a product I spent $130 on and now cannot get it registered under Leopard because the website registration says that its already been registered. I'm going to look for a keygen and never buy or recommend another ReadIRIS product again. Abby Finereader is ALOT better but they've discontinued their native OSX version. That's okay, I can just use it under Parrallels or Boot Camp. Stay away from Omnipage. Their product pales in comparison to Abby Finereader Pro. Additionally, they ask for a credit card number just to download a trial of their software......ummm I don't think so. [alert admin]

The universal binary still hasn't been released and probably never will because the great people at Autodesk purchased Alias and they've killed development. Any email to them lately gets me forwarded to their knowledge base which is pretty much ignored by them. I guess they wanted to own Maya but could care less about Sketchbook yet they're still trying to capitalize on it by selling it as one of their flagship designer tools. This is much worse than what Adobe did to the Macromedia products because they've actually improved them a little bit. I think the only thing that Autodesk did for Sketchbook is replace the Alias logo with their own. A good way to tick someone off is sell them a $200 program and then kill support. Autodesk needs to fix the software or stop selling it altogether. [alert admin]
