PsyncX 2.1.1 (Mac OS X)

Different problem

Backup begun Sat Nov 1 21:53:40 2003

Can't locate MacOSX/File.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /System/Library/Perl/darwin /System/Library/Perl /Library/Perl/darwin /Library/Perl /Library/Perl /Network/Library/Perl/darwin /Network/Library/Perl /Network/Library/Perl .) at /usr/bin/psync line 14.

BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at /usr/bin/psync line 14.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I should add that previous versions worked without a hitch and, as far as I'm aware, nothing on my system has changed other than that I installed v2.1.1 (after finding out that 2.1 didn't work). [alert admin]

truly awful

I tried a previous version of this software and I have to say that it's truly awful. I can't believe that the author would charge money for this ... how to describe it? Put it this way, this software does nothing that you can't do for yourself and as such I have to agree with other commentators here - this should be removed from VT. [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS X 10.2.8 (Mac OS X)

sendmail still works

Installed without a hitch here and, crucially, Sendmail still works (unlike after some previous versions of the OS). [alert admin]

The 20th Century Voyage 1.1 (Mac OS X)

excellent

Still stunningly good to look. Still beautifully executed. Still wish it displayed the date as well as the year. [alert admin]

The 20th Century Voyage 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)

this is excellent

Very slick. The only thing I would like to see added is a more accurate date. Knowing the year something occured is ok but the actual date would be more informative. [alert admin]

let me send you some more money

hey, quick, where's my credit card. A point oh point one upgrade must be worth at least another $20 ... is that ok, or would you like me to send more? ;) Having said which, I do like this product. [alert admin]

SARS 1.0b5 (Mac OS X)

get some perspective

500 people have died of sars in the last six months, malaria kills 3000 peope each day. You've as much chance of contracting sars as you have of getting kicked to death by a gang of zombie nuns. You don't need this in your menu bar ;) [alert admin]

use the commentary feature

Baboon, posting multiple reviews isn't acceptable. If you have something else to say use the commentary feature. I'm as annoyed with YazSoft as the majority of people here, but artificially downgrading the rating for their product is churlish. [alert admin]

Still doesn't work with custom keyboard layout

hi Tony, this is somewhat off-topic but I've spent ages trying to find out how to customize my Dvorak layout. Specifically I'd like shift-3 to produce a pound sign rather than the # symbol. Could you let me know either i) where you got your layout, or ii) how to customise an existing one? Thanks, Dave (djn1@bolton.ac.uk)
