CNET TechTracker app 1.0 beta 2 (Mac OS X)
Replacement for VersionTracker Pro?
Since CNET owns VersionTracker, why redesign the wheel? Is this simply a re-worked version of VT Pro or a completely separate alternative? [alert admin]

IceTV 1.02 (Mac OS X)
Was a great widget when free...
Sadly listing this as "Freeware" is a bit of a misnomer. Will be going back to ebroadcast as suggested below... [alert admin]

Christmas Is Coming! 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Although am now wondering why I'm using this as it only reminds me how little time I have left to find a special gift for my wife! :-)
Very nice looking graphic has a very 3D feel despite being made in 2D programs.

Secret Service 1.0 (Mac OS X)
Works fine for me and I feel the first reviewer was a little out of line as far as expectations go! [alert admin]

Macromedia Flash Player 8.0d447 (Mac OS X)
"A download error occured. Try to download again?" - I get this message when I try to use the embedded installer on the page one gets directed to from VT. Clicking "Retry" a multitude of times results in a repitition of this message. I have Safari 2.0, 10.4.2 running on a Pismo PowerBook with 1GIG of RAM. :-( [alert admin]

Apple Mac OS X 10.3.8 (Mac OS X)
Apple apps failed to update...
If you've moved your Apple apps (Mail, Internet Connect, Safari etc.) to another folder, in my case one called "Internet" as I can't stand having a zillion apps in one folder, then they won't be updated. Instead remnants are left in the Applications folder. Very sad. :-(
Of note, I used the Combo updater, maybe this made a difference. Also of note, for the person that said they had Little Snitch trouble, my copy (v1.1.1) is still working fine after the update...
Everything else seems to be OK. [alert admin]

Microsoft IntelliPoint 5.1 (Mac OS X)
It wouldn't recognise my Intellimouse Explorer (original). Displays a mouse with a red cross through it and I can't change the settings. Yay! Good product testing... [alert admin]

DNSUpdate 2.7 (Mac OS X)
I could never get the UI to connect to the daemon...kept telling me that the daemon has failed. This is after a restart as suggested. Any ideas? I really would like to get this client to work, considering the Java alternative is more difficult to configure and doesn't seem to work. [alert admin]

Just a thought, have you tried turning on Sync Service in Entourage? This will sync your Entourage contacts and calendars to Apple Address Book and iCal...then when you sync your iPhone you will get your contacts and calendars from Entourage. I think this works in Office 2004 and higher?

Just my 2 cents...my version 1 code continues to work in version 2. I also paid for lifetime upgrades but stopped using version 1 when it turned into a memory hog. Hopefully version 2 will improve upon this...

Problems with Entourage 12.2.0
Have you tried the usual suspects to fix Entourage issues? This means doing an Entourage database rebuild (hold option while starting up Entourage) and/or dumping the Entourage preferences (although this mainly fixes authentication issues)... Just trying to help! :-) Steve

I connect to my Sony Bravia X Series from my Mac mini via HDMI and had no issues with this update. Instead, when I installed it on my MacBook my machine rebooted about 10 times in a row after reaching the Apple symbol. Hard shutdown and left it for a while, came back and booted up fine. Weird!

You can downgrade to the version 8 preview for intel. I found this link on the help page regarding the 9 beta. Click here to download the older Flash 8 Preview for Intel .

"0 of 8 Users Found this helpful" - I think this speaks volumes. Safari 2.0 is brilliant and runs great on my ancient Pismo PowerBook under 10.4.2.

Work for LimeWire Nessy? You review is neither helpful or well backed up. If you are going to review something, tell us why you think it's junk. Personally I think Aquisition is very good at what it does and certainly doesn't warrant a 1 star review. Contructive criticism is useful, plain old biased criticism is not.
