Studiometry 1.0.1 (Mac OS X)
I happened upon this program when I was hunting desperately for some way to keep better track of my freelance writing, which is my source of income. Luckily this was posted on MacCentral, I tried it, and bought it right away. Since then the developer (Tom) has added some features I recommended in this 1.0.1, and is cool with hearing suggestions for how to add features! I wish all shareware developers were this responsive. Photo Brush 1.5 (Windows NT, Windows 95, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows XP, Windows 2000)
problem with large photoshop files, so I'm not sure why there would be a problem with Tiff files. I'm amazed that this little app does so many cool things. I'd kill for Photoshop to have brush on effects like this. And I can't belive this little program has tools like Painter (image nozzle, brush textures, paper textures.) Man. [alert admin]

Iconographer X 2.3 (Mac OS X)
Not only has he responded to my previous emails, he added the features I requested. (I asked for a shrinkable or expandable selection marquee) And he added them last time about a day after I requested the feature. [alert admin]

I see it a bit differently of course. I think that there are those who take their workouts seriously enough to log the details, and those who don't. As this program was intended to help out people ALREADY logging their workouts, those are the people it's aimed at. I don't think the casual exerciser needs or wants to record the minutae of their workouts. There's no real need. But for serious athletes, it's a must.…
