beaTunes 1.0 (Mac OS X)
What about the key field? Will future versions support key-analysis too? And I want a setting to change the temporary directory. And make it right from the beginning by allowing me to specify at least two temp dirs (think: powerbook with external drive connected) [alert admin]

The Music N*** 1.3 (Mac OS X)
I preferred the original name. Anyway, a little problem - if you have your iTunes library stored in /Users/name/Documents/iTunes (which is a valid location) Music NAZI doesn't seem to find it. Furthermore, it would be nice if playcount and last played date could be updated when using this software. [alert admin]

iFeedPod 1.11 (Mac OS X)
Couldn't this be made into a plugin for iSync or iTunes so that it was synced automatically whenever I connected my iPod, much like it works with the Address Book and iCal today. [alert admin]

iEatBrainz 1.07 (Mac OS X)
This is a very useful app, especially to identify those odds songs you don't even know the artist of. However, 99% of my iTunes library is very carefully tagged and I want to contribute but I don't understand the process. It seems awfully complicated from the docs on the site, anyone care to explain how I can easily contribute? [alert admin]

Can't magnify the movie window?
Is it possible to play movies at twice the normal size? I have looked and looked but can't find this very basic functionality. [alert admin]

TuneTags 0.89 (Mac OS X)
It should use the grouping-field. It would also be useful ig it could enter values automatically, something along the lines in this hint; http://www.macosxhints.com/article.php?story=20040514091905395 [alert admin]

Tcl/Tk Aqua 8.4.9.1 (Mac OS X)
Setup: 1 Mac with 10.3 client 1 linux box I want to run a X11 application on the Mac and display it on the linux box via X11 tunneled through ssh. However, this application requires tkinter, which is not included in 10.3 (it is included in 10.4 but I can't upgrade right now). Which Tcl/Tk should I install? I have read a lot of FAQ:s and other documentation for tcltkaqua but I don't understand it. Obviously, I don't need the app to be displayed with native Mac OS X look'n'feel and I don't need to develop in Tcl/Tk. Is tcltkaua even the right thing for me? I am a little suspicious, my guess would be that I should look for some X11-version of Tcl/Tk for my specific purposes. Anyone know what to do? Thanks [alert admin]

GPSPhotoLinker 1.3.0 (Mac OS X)
How is this supposed to be used? Imagine that I take few photos on vacation and when I return home I download the pictures to my computer, won't the picture be tagged with the location of my home rather than where I spent my holiday? [alert admin]

Comments field is for user data...
Allmusic's database would be very useful. However, there are rumors that they will block you if you download to much data to fast but you could use a sleep timer to work around that. It is not like you have add tags frequently.

Re: interesting but limited tagging approach
Why not (offer to) use the grouping field rather than the comment field?

Can you be more detailed on this? Have they removed some functionality in 4.5 that was available in 4.2? I really would appreciate some more details, do you think you could e-mail me at i97_bed*i.kth.se (change the * to @)? Thanks in advance
