VectorDesigner 1.0.3.1138 (Mac OS X)

No SVG nor EPS, nor any other format than the native Vector Designer one

I'm quite disappointed to see that the program can't handle (read and write) any other format than the native application one. It is not possible to open any SVG or EPS file, don't talk about illustrator.. Even if I paid the license, I'm back to using Inkspace.. Too bad... I was hoping for something better. [alert admin]

Axelerate 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Can't connect through proxy

Couldn't make it work here at work, where all connections must go through a proxy. Would be nice to be able to set proxies for supported protocols, or to make it use the ones defined in system preferences. cheers [alert admin]

DMGConverter 3.5 (Mac OS X)

So far so good

Does what it says. One thing I'd love to have is the automatic .dmg creation when a folder is dragged on the app icon. [alert admin]

You Control: Tunes 1.5.1 (Mac OS X)

works well on PPC

Didn't get any problem while trying it. Registration number worked, all seems working as it should. Maybe this last minor release also fixed other bugs than just playing well with non EN versions of iTunes… [alert admin]

Hallon 1.0.2 (Mac OS X)

can't use it with tiger

When I try to add or add quickly a bookmark from iPhoto 5.0.2 and Mail 2.0.1, I get the following error message: "An error occured when the new bookmarks were created. Make sure that at least one item is selected and that it is something that can be bookmarked" I didn't tested all available applications, but it works fine from the finder If I click on the Hallon menu after having selected more than one item in Mail, many elements get disabled (greyed) in the menu, like 'add', 'add quickly', and all created bookmarks. It also greyed the 'quit hallon' option, which is very annoying because it's the only way to quit the app as it doesn't appear in the force quit window. [alert admin]

Can connect through proxy by creating .axelrc file in user home dir

Me wrong, this is possible by creating a '.axelrc' file in the user home directory. simply adding the line http_proxy = HOST:PORT does the trick (of course replace HOST and PORT with valid values) I found an example of .axelrc file here: http://www.filewatcher.com/p/axel-1.0b.tgz.26312/etc/axelrc.html Sorry for the noise, great app :-)

iPhoto bug solved

To make Hallon work with iPhoto 5, it needs the extra module that can be downloaded from http://homepage.mac.com/pgw3/hallon/extraApplications.html Hope to soon see Mail 2 support there too.. :-)

works with some applications though

It worked with all other default applications (Terminal, iTunes, Safari and Finder). Mail and iPhoto are the two apps it doesn't work with (for me). I'll give a very good rate as soon as the bug will be fixed as I find this little application very useful otherwise.
