StuffIt Deluxe 2009 13.0.3 (Mac OS X)

Deluxe 13.0.3?

I see no evidence of a Stuffit Deluxe 13.0.3, only the service release 3 (i.e. 13.0.2) released back in November. Only Expander has a 13.0.3 release as far as I can tell from Smith Micro's site. [alert admin]

Why not bundle?

Just curious ... why not roll all these random little statistics applications into a single bundle? [alert admin]

Can't Unstuff

Stuffit 9 under 10.3.8 can't decompress the binhex archive, it seems, complaining of an "internal error". [alert admin]

Update Mania

The frequency of updates of this thing borders on the absurd ... responsiveness to customers is one thing, but doncha think restraining yourself to one update a week would be adequate? As it is, it feels like the worst kind of trolling for recognition. [alert admin]

Ratiocinator 2.1 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

Still busted?

I'm afraid I'm still getting an error upon decompression of the archive. I am using the latest version of Expander. I get the error on both a Panther system with Stuffit Lite (or whatever they're calling it these days) and a Jaguar system running Deluxe. [alert admin]

Destroys v.10.04, but updates 10.0 ok

Yeah, I had the same problem. (Curiously, on a machine with basically the same specs.) The same fix seems to have worked.

2GB limit

If you're in unix land why do you need Stuffit to create tgz archives for you? (I'm not necessarily arguing it shouldn't be able to handle this, but I'm just sayin'...)

Why not in Bold?

I may be mistaken, but I believe developers pay for that privilege; it is not a bestowed honor but rather simply paid advertising.
