Flip4Mac WMV 2.3.0.14 (Mac OS X)

Creating Silverlight with Flip4Mac

The purpose of Flip4Mac is to play as many types of WMV on your Mac as possible. Since Microsoft implemented Silverlight you must have it for media wrapped in that player. Without it, a whole bunch of folks may start complaining," Flip4Mac can't play . . ." Silverlight ensures that you'll play those files since Flip4Mac can't. NetFlix instant view is a good example. and . . . You CAN create Silverlight with Flip4Mac. Once your file is in Quicktime 7.x Pro (must be Pro) File>Export> In the Save Exported File As box Export to Windows Media Click on Options You'll see four tabs Video, Audio, Content, Silverlight The Silverlight tab allows you create a WMV wrapped in Silverlight just as one might create an FLV in a Flash Player. Flip4Mac Drive-in 1.0.0.32 (Mac OS X)

NOTHING Suspicious at All

CraigP The file is played in DVD Player . . . just as if you but any commercial DVD in your Mac and player it. You're playing the MPEG2 files. The copy protection is the one licensed by the DVD manufacturer, CSS. Drive-In copies the DVD to your hard drive and maintains the copy protection. [alert admin]

Adobe Flash Player 9.0.18.0 (Mac OS X)

Flash Beta and Flip4Mac Conflict on Intel Macs?

Some users on Intel Macs who have both Flip4Mac Universal and Flash Beta Universal are seeing the dreaded Quicktime Q with the Question Mark. Only happening on Intel Macs and only reported by some people. I have both on my PPC Mac and they live happily together. Anybody else seeing this issue or on the other hand, any with both on Intel Mac not seeing this issue? People reporting the issue have noted it on YouTube.com, where all the videos are Flash. Yes - Creating Silverlight with Flip4Mac

You'll notice that you can create Silverlight with Flip4Mac. Once your file is in Quicktime 7.x File>Export> In the Save Exported File As box Export to Windows Media Click on Options You'll see four tabs Video, Audio, Content, Silverlight The Silverlight tab allows you create a WMV wrapped in Silverlight just as one might create an FLV in a Flash Player. The WMV exporter is only in demo mode on the free player but you can upgrade to Flip4Mac Studio for both WMV9 and WMV9…

You're not correct on the law

The DMCA makes it ILLEGAL to break the copy protection of a protected DVD. Drive-in is the only product on the Mac market that copies DVDs legally. Drive-in makes a LOSSLESS copy. It is the same quality of the original and keeps the entire DVD structure intact.

Retains CSS

Drive-in does NOT defeat the CSS. It retains and copies it.
