Problem seems to lie with auto update

Works fine now I trashed everything and started again. Great application - Thanks! Time to pay for it I guess. [alert admin]

Update Problems

I had the same problem with 4.1 - froze my system up when trying to install and update. Otherwise this is a fantastic application - highly recommended. Wait for a fix. [alert admin]

SRS iWOW Premium for iTunes 3.1 (Mac OS X)

Developer Not Responding

I had bought an earlier version of iWow through a macupdate bundle I think and then had paid to upgrade when the new version (3.0) came out. I was happy with it as far as it went, but then I had to upgrade my Hard Drive and I went to re-register the software. Now it tells me that I have used up all my registrations (I had it on all three users on my one machine). I have contacted the developer three times through their website about this and not heard a peep back from them. So is this money wasted, or does anyone have a solution? Perhaps even the developer themselves. [alert admin]

Leopard is beginning to purr

Whoops! I thought I had engaged brain before putting fingers into gear ... but something is beginning to work ... all of a sudden I can send faxes and Fuji have directed me to a Brother Driver that seems to work ... Filemaker and one dotmac email account are still screwy, I still have not been able to add printers on my airport network, but the sun is beginning to shine after four days of hell. Perhaps I will owe an apology to apple by the end of this ... however the guy at applecare managed to convince me that there was no such thing as an Apple USB Modem ... Ratings are increasing. However I wish I had read the guidelines on MaxFixit before installing. [alert admin]

Leopard Does not purrrr ....

I am so regretting upgrading to Leopard at the moment. My Apple USB External Fax Modem has stopped working so I cannot communicate with my bank. I cannot use any printers on my network at home - it refuses to load them (and yes I have updated the drivers). There is no driver currently available for my printer at work (FujiXerox Docuprint 203A). It keeps stuffing up the information in my account preferences in Mail so that it will not access my email. I use Filemaker every day and the only way this will work I have discovered is if I use USA as my country in System Preferences. This makes all my date formats weird. Why release an OS in this kind of an environment? I wish I could downgrade, but it seems that this will create its own problems. [alert admin]

Circus Ponies NoteBook 2.1 v254 (Mac OS X)

Solved update

Sorted out my problem by switching off speed download and using Safari to download the disc image which then mounted fine and updated fine. Thanks [alert admin]

Circus Ponies NoteBook 2.1 v254 (Mac OS X)

Update not working

This is a wonderful application, however ... I updated to v254 from inside the application and installed ... the new application did not have the normal icon, so I wondered if I was in trouble ... sure enough when I tried to open one of my files it displayed a message that it could not find the stop file and the application froze ... So I then downloaded a disc image from the website and this repeatedaly refused to mount .... So currently I cannot open any of my notebooks ... Waiting to hear a solution to this predicament. Mellel 2.0.8 (Mac OS X)

Improvements

I think Mellel is great, just could we have a split screen option for large documents and could it be integrated with Devonthink. Thanks for a great product. [alert admin]

Update Problems

After deleting everything and starting again it works fine now. Looking at other comments it appears the problem lies in the auto update system. Great application and probably time I paid for it!
