on my intel-desktop macpro running PS CS3 and 10.4.11 The new Focus mode of Enhancer would appear to be a de-convolver which "sharpens" using a very different approach than standard sharpeners a'la photoshop, seems to be similar to "Focus Fixer" from another vendor which is currently not available for CS3 a quick trial runs shows that it works and gives good results which are different that what I get using conventional sharpeners even with rather extreme focus adjustment one does not get those halos Enhancer mode seems unchanged and still does a great job still has my pet peeve of having no way (other than running it or looking at the date) of telling which version you have [alert admin]

DrawIt 3.3 (Mac OS X)
After my previous negative comments I must say that this looks like a very nice program I am glad to see that the price is reduced and that the previous policy of only being allowed one trial period total as new versions of the "beta" were released has changed As mentioned by the previous reviewer the manual is skimpy (dense) which when combined with the somewhat unusual interface will lead to a significant learning curve it has many unique and useful features which may be worth the learning curve, it will take me some time to see if it is worth it I am happy to see that the trial version seems to be full featured and not time limited (limited only in the number of layers which seems not to be a problem) [alert admin]

Mac Pilot 2.5.1 (Mac OS X)
downloaded 251 installed it entered codes and it is back to working they should have told people ahead of time that 2.5 requires re entering codes , how about those folk who lost that old email they will now be stuck with a demo only? this companies registration process needs a lesson in CUSTOMER service and no it was not a firewall issue [alert admin]

Mac Pilot 2.5 (Mac OS X)
even though I am a licensed user via VT when I down loaded this new version it announces that It is a demo version I re-enterered my original password and email address and it tell me that the code is wrong (previous upgrades worked fine) I try to send a message to the so called customer support using the form from their web page and it tells me that the email address (that they provide via the web page) is invalid I did not even have a place to enter an email how could I have made a mistake? I tried several times sometimes I got an additional message that my guess at the mystery words were not correct perhaps I miss-guessed the number of spaces between words !? after 6 attempts I did get a message through to a different selection (administration vs licensee support) It addition this company has the most worthless complex neurotic registration process in existence - if this was not paid for as part of a Version Tracker offer I would not willingly subject myself to this process again I tried to go back to the previous version that used to work now it tells me that it is a 15 day demo version user beware!!! GraphicConverter 6.0.2 (Mac OS X)
some years ago I purchased this program and used it until one day I downloaded an upgrade and without warning (at least none that I saw) it overwrote my paid program and demanded that I pay again to use the new version!! Well I for one will never trust this company again even tho they make a reasonable product beware [alert admin]

Wx 5.1 (Mac OS X)
looks like a fairly nice integrated weather pgm, the detailed 7 day forecast is nice have not seen that on others in my case the NWS radar display does not load (says loading but nothing shows) I prefer Seasonality which is similar and which also includes a real time satellite photo and a extended detail history of all the measured parameters (but radar is not real time but does update every few minutes ) The real time radar is not really integrated on Wx it just provides a link which you can do by yourself anyway [alert admin]

Re Lithium level this is not the place to insult other posters I am glad you had no problems but check the other posts many of us have wasted an hour or more attempting to upgrade or even to communicate with this company this certainly something that I feel entitled to complain about

One I found the IMage upgrade instructions for OSX at: http://rsb.info.nih.gov/ij/docs/install/osx.html Everything works great, contrary to my previous comment Suggest that someone who knows how add this link either in the upgrade description or in the download instruction page that comes up when following the upgrade path Thanks to Wayne for the tip This free program is really great with some really usefull and unique tools (along with some specialized esoteric ones) Art
