iVideo Converter 1.0.4 (Mac OS X)
Your description of this program interested me...a non CPU-intensive video converter MUST use the GPU I thought as a DLed it. Then I went to the developer's website and saw it uses FFMPEG which AFAIK uses (single core) CPU and not GPU. I tried it and it's about the same as FFMPEGX but with a better GUI. It uses just as much CPU as any other program that uses FFMPEG. I still prefer HandBrake but thanks for a good program that's easy to use and inexpensive, though it's definitely not "non CPU-intensive." [alert admin]

No worky with Safari 4 (non-beta)
The just released Safari 4 (non-beta) seem to work with 1PassWord. [alert admin]

MacPilot 3.3.1 (Mac OS X)
Seems as though a lot of the functions in MacPilot no longer work with the just released Safari v4 (non beta). Most notably, I need that Top Sites page to be disabled... [alert admin]

Pixelmator 1.4.1 (Mac OS X)
I've come to really like Pixelmator as it's matured in the last year. Ireally would love it if they'd add the ability to align layers (e.g. center, left, right on both horizontal and vertical axis). Other than that, this is a great Photoshop Elements replacement I'd highly recommend to anyone. [alert admin]

Vuze BitTorrent Client 4.1 (Mac OS X)
The iTunes of BitTorrent Clients ![]()

When it was known as Azureus, this BitTorrent client was pretty good. However, now it's become less focussed on just downloads and more cumbersome to use. I'd like to see the BT client and the rest of Vuze (e.g. the media browsing stuff) to be available seperately. Alternately, the media stuff can be available as a plugin to the BT client. As it it, Vuze reminds me of iTunes, good at it's original task but bloated to the point I want to look elsewhere. [alert admin]

Perfect app for what it does. I don't get the screenshot (e.g. a game with ants on an arm). [alert admin]

Apple iTunes 7.7 (Mac OS X)
It seems that every "update" to iTunes includes more store-like features but no actual improvements to the music experience. iTunes is an extension of the Apple.com store and is one big-honking piece of bloatware. I'd love to dump iTunes for something more streamlined (SongBird isn't ready for primetime yet). [alert admin]

Transmission 1.21 (Mac OS X)
When I click on a .torrent it looks like Transmission tries to open but I essentially get a blink of an icon on the Dock. Transmission will not open when I double click a .torrent. I can, however, manually open Transmission and it'll download my torrents. I deleted all .plist and preferences (via App Zapper) with no change. Also reinstalled 1.21 and still no go. [alert admin]

VMware Fusion 2.0b1 (Mac OS X)
Installed and played with VMWare Fusion 2.0b1 and love the way it works with spaces. I now have Fusion running full screen in one space and OS X in another space and (with Warp or shortcuts) I can seamlessly swap between the two. Perfect. [alert admin]

CoverSutra 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)
I know it has support for Growl, but it doesn't use Growl notifications. Even with that "use growl" selected I get the CoverSutra notification which is nice but I want uniformity. Other than that, CoverSutra ROX (and I got it as part of MacHeist)! [alert admin]

I don't see a huge need for security other than a site advisor utility to warn of phishing/suspicious web sites and a 2-way firewall but why not install a full on suite? It's not like most Macs don't have enough spare CPU power to run a simple suite. Far too many Mac users are complacent in their security...only when a huge Mac-based botnet or virus is exposed will people finally become more serious…

Just install a previous version of VMWare Fusion...no special action needed IIRC.

Your comments for Filezilla remind me of the comments people post about GraphicsConverter: outstanding program but needs a facelift... I'll stick with Forklift because if I wanted function over form I'd be using Windows or Linux.

Never had any problems with VMWare Fusion. You sure your problems aren't rooted in something besides VMWare Fusion (e.g. you, your hardware, XP, etc.)?

C'mon, does anyone believe this review to be made by anyone other than the developer, his friend, or family member? Why don't you and your app get a motel room...it's good but not THAT good...sheesh.

Do you have any Safari add-ons? They would be your culprit.
