You must install rarlabs shareware or it won't work at all. Not freeware. Even after installing 3.51 rar rarlabs file in the correct place inside of RarMe, it does not compress files. It runs in the terminal and then errors and does not create the rar file. Using process in terminal setting I get the error Cannot open /Users/xxx/Desktop/testfile.txt Creating archive /Users/xxx/Desktop/test.rar in terminal. WARNING: No files Using Processs in RarMe setting I get an AppleScript error dialog saying cannot open. I tried several different files, but it won't work. Does it really work in Tiger? [alert admin]

OnyX 1.6.7 (Mac OS X)
Developer got back to me very fast and provided this fix for 1.6.7. Quit OnyX, delete the preferences file (~/Library/Preferences/com.titanium.OnyX.plist) and relaunch OnyX That is the Users Library. I guess we should have tried that first. [alert admin]

OnyX 1.6.7 (Mac OS X)
On my G4DP 1.25 running 10.4.4 Onyx 1.6.7 toolbar is invisible and renders 1.6.7 not useable. Hide and Show toolbar does nothing to show the toolbar. I think maybe 1.6.7 did run under 10.4.3, can't remember. To reinstall 1.6.5 which does work, you must go to the /Library/Receipts/ and delete OnyX.pkg and delete Onyx app, then you can install 1.6.5. [alert admin]

Max 0.5.4 (Mac OS X)
Great features. It is very cool that Max can encode multiple formats at once. ie. mp3, mp4, flac, without having to encode again. Easy to use and much more flexible than iTunes at ripping. It has some of the features of EAC that I like. Now if it could only replace EAC then it would be perfect. Select all and select none works fine for me. Using 10.4.4 on a DPG4. [alert admin]

Adobe Bridge 1.0.2 (Mac OS X)
sure startup is faster, but 100% CPU usage? ![]()

I don't get it. Adobe has sooooo many programmers and they put this crap out? It you open bridge with a 100MB Tiff showing it will suck 100% of your CPU. Even if bridge is hidden it suck 100% of the CPU. BTW Photoshop CS2 uses 0% when doing nothing with the same picture open. Even when I can see the picture in PS. I have a DP 1.25GHz PM G4 and the CPU usage is 98 to 100%? WTF? What, you have to buy a G5 DP just to run bridge? Can you say MS bloatware? [alert admin]
