Microtek ScanWizard Pro 7.61 (Mac OS X)
Microtek obviously do not care about their customers
I have a Microtek ScanMaker 6800 and have had no way of using ScanWizard for years due to the lack of support for older Microtek Scanners. I purchased VueScan, and now have full access to my scanner in Leopard - something that Microtek do not seem to be bothered with sorting, which I find absolutely shocking. Thank you Hamrick Software for providing an excellent solution to all of us who use slightly older scanners. [alert admin]

Microtek ScanWizard Pro 7.541 (Mac OS X)
Still no support for ScanMaker 6800
I believe that is now 3 years that Microtek have ignored this and many other older scanners. I had to purchase VueScan from Hamrick, as that was the only way I could use my scanner at all in Mac OS since Tiger. [alert admin]

SwitchDock 2.0 (Mac OS X)
Incorrect product requirements information!
Product Requirements:
Mac OS X 10.2 or higher
This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:
Mac OS X 10.2
Mac OS X 10.3
Mac OS X 10.3.9
Mac OS X 10.4 PPC (shouldn't this be removed???)
SwitchDock seems to have been downgraded from 3.0 yesterday, to 2.0 today (or was that just a genuine error?), just downloaded the file again and inside is a file called "Tiger Incompatibility.rtf", which when opened states "Please Note: SwitchDock is currently not compatible with Mac OS X 10.4 Tiger."
How about providing the correct information so that people don't waste their time downloading software which looks like it may be beneficial to them, only to find it won't run on their system?
Sorry to be a nag, but this has wasted quite a bit of my time pointing out what I would perceive as an obvious error.

SwitchDock 3.0 (Mac OS X)
Have tried the link here and on developers site, both point to a v2.x download. Contained within this download is a text file which says that SwitchDock is not compatible with Tiger, although v3.x claims to be Tiger compatible, so this link is obviously out of date. Look forward to being able to try this one out when I can download the correct file. [alert admin]

FileChute 2.5.3 (Mac OS X)
I just downloaded the latest version, and it is an Intel only build. The YellowMug website says that it should be Universal Binary, but it isn't at this stage. [alert admin]

WebYep 1.1.9 (Mac OS X)
I just have to say that WebYep is a great little CMS package. Very easy to integrate into a Dreamweaver site, and also soon to be just as easy, if not easier in Rapidweaver!!! [alert admin]

bizNas RapidWeaver theme r3 (Mac OS X)
Will those who purchased previous versions be receiving a free upgrade to r3? I tried to download the file using my e-junkie link, but it was still r2. [alert admin]

TapDex 3.0.1 (Mac OS X)
I've been happily running v. 3.0 and all previous versions with no problems. Now all of a sudden, this update will not run. I double-click to install, and get an error "Preferences Error - Could not load TapDex" Tried a manual install, and get the same error. Tried binning the com.yellowmug.TapDex.plist file, and still get the same error. Reverting back to v. 3.0 gives the same error. [alert admin]

QuarkXPress 7.0 (Mac OS X)
So, in the US, QuarkXPress 7 is $899.95 (plus local sales tax I presume) which works out at around £490 give or take a few £s. In the UK, QuarkXPress 7 is £749 (plus VAT). In the US, Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium is $1,199 (plus local tax) which works out at around £650 give or take a few £s. In the UK, Adobe Creative Suite 2 Premium is £895 (plus VAT). It's a no brainer for me, Adobe CS2 is £146 more than just QuarkXPress on its own, but I would get Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, and GoLive for just £895. Or, I could just stump up £749 for just QuarkXPress 7 and be frustrated as hell using another flaky upgrade. I stopped using QuarkXPress years ago in favour of InDesign, and I have no regrets. If Quark do not want people to migrate to Adobe InDesign, they have to do something about the pricing of their product, as well as improving the functionality of the software. Also, I need to get this off my chest. When will we see comparable hardware and software prices this side of the pond? £749 in the UK but £490 in the US. that's £259 of a difference. Why? Why? Why? End of rant [alert admin]

I had the older version on my computer and it was working fine. I downloaded the software again and it was (as stated) the newer version. I ran it, it asked for my password (I had switched on the restrict access option in prefs) then it gave an error and forced me to exit the app. I went back in to the older version and switched off the restrict access option then quit. I launched…
