Command & Conquer Generals 1.0 (Mac OS X)

runs okay, some problems

it doesn't play well with a dual monitor setup, it doesn't display anything on the second monitor, but also doesn't the edge of the main display, so if you drag your mouse onto the second screen it moves your play view in the opposite direction. that's very annoying. Also, I can't seem to skip the intro video, so I have to watch every time I start the game. i've tried return, enter, escape, space bar and clicking mouse buttons, and none of those skips the intro. it does run fairly smooth on my 867 MDD with a radeon 8500. SilverFast Ai Epson Expression 1680 6.2d6 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)

Silverfast rocks

I don't know why people complain about this software. Lasersoft is very responsive, and Silverfast blows away the Epson scan modules. Vuescan has a much steeper learning curve than Silverfast too. [alert admin]

R-Name 3.0 (Mac OS X)

"Find and Replace" stopped working

I've been using R Name since moving to OS X. Recently, when in Find and Replace, when I enter text in the Find: or Replace: areas and tab or click out, the text disappears, rendering the Find and Replace useless. I've tried deleting the pref file, and that doesn't help. Any ideas on a fix? [alert admin]

hey XAquaticX

XAquaticX: burn your VIDEO_TS folder as a Data: DVD-ROM (UDF) instead of as a Video:DVD-Video. there you go. [alert admin]

BitTorrent 3.3 (Mac OS X)

Still kills my audio when running

As soon as I start Bit Torrent, my audio cuts out, and I have no audio until I quit Bit Torrent and unplug and plug back in my speakers. I've reinstalled the OS, and the problem persists. [alert admin]

A.I.D. X 4.2.3 (Mac OS X)

still the best for eBay

As a buyer and seller on eBay, I love this program. It's easy to use, keeps records very organized, and is well supported, although updates don't happen quite as fast as they used to. I wish the upload function was still around, but from what I understand changing the upload function was eBay's doing, and now you have to use their program to upload auctions, but it's Windows only. Auction Listing Creator can create auctions for you, but it can't upload them. [alert admin]

it would be…

even greater if it could work with the Address Book, or store frequently used addresses. [alert admin]

Flash plays better,…

but web pages still load slower than Chimera. minus one star for not having tabbed browsing, which I used to think was stupid but now can't live without. Overall, a good sign of things to come. [alert admin]
