Checkout 2.1 (Mac OS X)

Be Careful...

If you are going to use this software for accepting Credit Cards for purchases, you are locked into using only one credit card processing company, you cannot choose your own... This is particularly troublesome, as the processing partner MYOB has chosen has not fully disclosed their rates to accept credit cards for all the different types of cards (rewards cards, signature debit, business cards, etc.) on the MYOB website... To see what "cost" is on the different types of cards visit either the Visa or MasterCard websites and lookup "interchange" [alert admin]

LeopardAssist 1.2 (Mac OS X)

Works great on my 533 Digital Audio

I guess mileage will vary, but this product helped me install 10.5 on my trusty 533MHZ Digital Audio Mac, no hiccups at all. Leopard runs decently, no slower than 10.4 anyways... [alert admin]

BusySync 2.0b7 (Mac OS X)

The best google Calendar sync

My company uses Google Calendars to track each others appointments, so to sync with iCal (and my Palm) I need a Google Calendar sync. Tried all the Mac solutions I could find: -gSync - Unusable. Duplicates calendars, many other issues... -Plaxo - "free" but can only sync your calendar, not the ones you subscribe to, so useless for me -Spanning Sync - works, but limited in scope. Also not crazy about going through their server... This one works the best of the lot. There are some quirks, mainly in understanding iCal (like NEVER have a duplicate event at the same time, iCal freaks over this when you Sync through .Mac sync... So if you have 2 calendars that have a common event like a conference call, be careful that both don't show up on your calendar) I really like that this not only allows my Google calendar sync, but allows me to sync multiple Macs. Contactizer Pro 3.5.2 (Mac OS X)

No category sync with iCal

No category sync with iCal, just dumps everything into one calendar, which is the deal breaker for me. I wish it worked, it is the closest to what I need. But I need to sync to mobile devices, and need the category sync... It's weird a ton of good GTD programs available for Mac, but not one useable CRM that will sync properly to mobile devices. Maybe Nighthawk when it comes out... [alert admin]

GolfCard 5.0 (Mac OS X)

looks good

I'm going to try this for a month, but it looks good so far. Simple interface, keeps track of putts, Fairways hit, greens in regulation, and important for me, partial rounds as I hardly ever have time for more than 9 holes... Going to test it out, and if it works well donate later! [alert admin]

Agendus Standard 11.03 (Palm OS)

My essential ap

This ap is my favorite right now for contact management on a Palm when syncing with a Mac. The only drawback is no Agendus Desktop for Mac (they have a Windows/Outlook one) but it does a fine job none the less. [alert admin]

Redlien Account Executive 1.5.3 (Mac OS X)

Appears to be dead...

This looked really promising, but the developer seems to have disappeared. There have been no updates since last year, no emails are answered, and the developers own personal blog hasn't been updated since March, and has been closed for comments. Move along, unfortunately there is nothing left to see here. [alert admin]

Missing Sync for Palm OS 5.1 (Mac OS X)

Version 5.1 fixes little glitches

I've been using the beta of this release, and it fixes the one problem I was having, Entourage/Sync Services/Missing Sync conflicts. This program has always worked great for me, but the newest Entourage upgrade (11.2.3) had issues with it, now fixed in Missing Sync 5.1. Great program, highly recommended. [alert admin]

Combine PDFs 2.1 (Mac OS X)

eFax lifesaver!

I do alot of eFaxing, and product has been great for my needs. You can only upload 5 PDF's to eFax per fax, but with Combine PDFs, I can make 1 large PDF for faxing. It is simple, and works perfectly for my needs. I highly recommend it! [alert admin]

DataViz Documents To Go Premium Edition 8.0010 (Palm OS)

Native Office & PDF's!

Now does native PDF's! Exactly what I needed. The native Excel support comes in handy as well. I use this ap all the time, and upgraded right away. [alert admin]

A moment of clarity

So let me get this straight, you would prefer software that you never have to update? Umm, good luck with that...

What's new in version 1.2 and why should I download and install it?

This product is now being developed by a new team. the original developer passed away a couple of years ago, and it is nice to see that somebody has picked up the reins. There is a website http://www.launcherxplanet.com/ where the developers have posted news as to what is up. But basically this is just a maintenance release that adds support for the newer file system (NVFS) on devices such as the Treo 700p, Treo 650,…

Warning re: Contact Syncing.

Actually, the problem isn't Microsoft this time, it's Apple's Sync Services. The Apple Sync Services don't understand "categories", they just sync the raw info. Also understand that the idea with Sync Services is that if you make a change to, say a contact in Addressbook, that change will appear after a sync in everything else connected to Sync Services, including the new version of Entourage. So if you delete things in Addressbook, they will disappear…

94,000 downloads

Also, just because all those nasty viruses out there have yet to affect your Mac, you can unwittingly resend an email to a Windows computer, that HAS a virus attached. Unfortunately, we pay a price to help protect our friends Microsoft running computers...
