Thanks for the comments from everybody. One note about the Rainddrops theme: This theme uses an image from the web as the background. The saver shows only black until the image has finished downloading. Unfortunately our website is a bit slow right now so the image may take a few seconds to download. We're working on changing this to give a better user experience during the download period, but for now, this is how it is. PS. If you have G5, we'd like to hear from you about Fluid performance. Drop us a line. We're not fortunate enough to be able to test on a G5. [alert admin]

If you have questions or bug reports, please send them to support@concepthouse.com. We don't always check back with this site so I can't be sure that we are helping you and/or fixing problems unless you talk to us directly. [alert admin]

Fluid 2.1 (Mac OS X)
2.1 should solve most laptop problems. Please email support@concepthouse.com if you still have problems. We are quite happy to talk to people from the outside...we don't get out much. [alert admin]

Please email support@concepthouse.com…
if you are having crashes. We have no way of helping if you don't since we can't repeat the problem and we don't have your email address. Thanks ahead of time. [alert admin]

me an email and I'll see if we can figure out what's going on. Frib, it does have multiple monitor support...check the Expert tab. NeoX, the Readme is correct....we don't have much control over what versiontracker puts up here....sometimes they do it right, other times they do it wrong (they don't have a "donationware" option and it's not really shareware since it is not disabled in any way). new version available. There is a problem with the listing for Fluid so I can't "officially" change it right now. Just thought everybody might want to know that the newest version is 2.0.2. It is functionally equivalent to the DevBuild that has been available...only this version may be a couple of frames per second faster on some machines. It should fix the crashes on screencapture that happened on some setups. [alert admin]

website for possible answers...specifically the documentation/FAQ section. If you continue to have a problem email us and we can help. Putting it on here helps neither us (fix possible problems) nor you (getting it running). Please understand that I'm not picking on you...just trying to get all people on VT to understand this from a developers point of view. [alert admin]

website and try one of the mirror sites. We are still sending out about 6GB of downloads a day so it is a bit bogged down on our main site. http://www.concepthouse.com/products/Fluid/ [alert admin]

got my laugh. Thanks for the kudos. We have a fix for the laptop issues (according to the testers so far) if you would like to test it yourself then download the development version at http://www.concepthouse.com/products/builds/ .... we are working on a performance increase also, but we aren't sure if we can get it out by the end of the week. We'll see. Oh, and the "Nice Fire" theme is fixed in this version also. [alert admin]

Check the "Expert" tab in the Fluid config. There is an option to enable multiple screens there.

Download from this link is version 2.5
For the actual version number, check the "About" tab in Fluid. The version number is in the lower left corner. The "Get Info" version may appear wrong (still trying to find where everything is hidden in XCode vs PB). The version you have sounds like 2.6.1. We just didn't change the disk image background for a point release.

I've just double-checked and downloaded the current version via this link and the links on the website. Not sure what was going on, but it seems to be working for me.
