iCoco 1.3 (Mac OS X)

Moving and Resizing Placed Icons

I would have to agree that a way to move and resize icons from within iCoco (and even a way to skew them, so they fit the direction of the folder) would be nice, and maybe these will come in a future release. Meanwhile, I've always just done this inside Photoshop, and then dropped it onto iCoco. [alert admin]

iCoco 1.3 (Mac OS X)

Excellent Product

I've used this for years now and it has always proven to be an excellent product. Other Mac users always ask me how I got the cool icons. [alert admin]

CocoThumbX 3.1 (Mac OS X)

Excellent App

This is an excellent app! I have been using it since it first came out, and the developer is always friendly, quick to help, and responsive to feature requests! [alert admin]

eMail Extractor 3.2.1 (Mac OS X)

Awesome

This is an excellent tool. I used it for building an email for a lobbying group. I had a list of all the Senators' and Representatives' email addresses, but no easy way to get them imported into Address Book. This did the trick. This was my test run. I will definitely be supporting this Shareware. [alert admin]

eMail Ripper 2.0.1 (Mac OS X)

I Agree ...

I agree with luckylou7. Apparently none of these folks administer a Member's list either, where you're lucky to get an electronic text file at all, let alone one that can be imported into an address book. My one beef with this is that there is no way to easily export the addresses to the Mac OS X Address Book. The CSV export is in a format that Address Book does not understand. It would be nice if there was a vCard (.vcf) export. [alert admin]

Pref Setter 1.1 (Mac OS X)

Excellent Program

Seems to crash a bit, but other than that, it's an excellent program. I almost always use this program for editing prefs. [alert admin]

Canadian Rockies Screensaver 1.0 (Mac OS X)

Absolutely Beautiful

I've been using this slideSaver since it first came out, and I was just sitting here folding laundry and this screen saver came up, (I have my system set to random) and just wanted to compliment the author.

I'm astonished to see that out of over a 1,000 downloads, I'm the first to review this!

These photos are absolutely, breathtakingly beautiful!

Major kudos to the author and/or photographer. Well done!

P.S. If you have something imoportant to do, don't let this screen saver come on screen, because the next thing you know, you'll just be looking at the screen thinking, "Um yeah, what was that I was suppose to be doing?" [alert admin]

AddressBookToCSV 1.1 (Mac OS X)

Good Program

I don't use g-mail much, but when a friend's computer crashed I was able to give them a lot of their missing addy's even though they are on a (ack) PC. [alert admin]

Deleting files problem

I have been using this handy app, probably since it first came out. I have never had the problem you are referring to, and I have never had anything but good experiences in contacting the developer on this (which I have done a number of times, talking about the ins and outs of the program, and how to make better color conversions, especially with CMYK files).

Nice

I use this for making sure customers' websites match their specific Pantone colors.

OS X already has this built in.

I too (using Tiger) have been unable to locate this mythical Pantone swatch library that you are referring to. I would love to know where it is. I speak as a 23 year veteran of the printing industry.

Funny

I feel sorry for people who only come to VersionTracker for "useful" applications, and never appreciate the ones that are just pure funny. I had someone complain that I had posted a Screen Saver on VersionTracker for the same reason.

Hope you improve your product support...

What Mac System are you on? I just stayed up till 5:00 in the morning playing this addictive game. I'm on a Mac G4, running Tiger. You may contact me via my website, and I will see if I can help.

Yeah, but Suitcase was never the better of the two programs anyway. Sorry, please don't stone me, all you Suitcase fanatics!

FReeway Pro

I would have remarked on that little typo, too, but I've been guilty of such boo-boos, also; and as far as I know there's no way to go back and edit the grammar of your comments after you hit the "submit" button.

Quark 3-4-5 Xtension v.3.1.3 breaks Quark

Oh cool. I've never been able to get 3.1.3 to work with Quark, even after MANY, MANY hours with FR Tech Support, and they never mentioned going back to 3.1.2, nor did they notify me of this new version (as they said they would) -- good program, all in all, but oftentimes lousy support! I guess I'll try the new version and see if it fixes my problems, too.
