Continuous crashing problems in b438  

Unfortunately, despite the long list of bugs fixed, it appears that the Skype team has created other, more serious ones. About 40% of the time when calling, and 80% of the time when receiving calls, Skype will completely crash and lose the call. Since I use it ever day for calling, I need it to be reliable at least in that respect; I'll be downgrading back to b324 if I can find it. [alert admin]

20/20 Vision 3.5 (Mac OS X)

Improved dramatically!  

I've used an older version of this software at my practice for several years. I was happy with it, but I didn't really think about it much. When one of my friends was opening another office, I told him to take a look at it as an option, but I wasn't particularly enthusiastic about it. So I was surprised when he called me back a few months later to thank me, and raved about how great it was. So I called the company (they actually have humans answering the phones) to see if I could upgrade to this new version, and they set up the whole thing in under an hour. This new version is AMAZING. It has so many new tests that the old version didn't have, it's practically a different program. AND they gave away the upgrade completely free, even though I was upgrading from a version that was nearly 2 years old. So in short, I strongly recommend trying this product out if you're in the market for a visual acuity system, especially the new version. [alert admin]
