If you wanna play more than demo mode, you gotta fork over fifteen bucks. Nostalgia mode over. [alert admin]

ChipWits II 10/18/07 (Mac OS X)
Oh man! ChipWits goes all the way back to the 128K Mac. This brings back some major memories. NOTE: This is not a review. I have not tried ChipWits II yet. I was just getting all nostalgic for a moment. [alert admin]

Weather Underground Weather Widget 1.42 (Mac OS X)
I'd really like to like this widget, but it's just too unstable. I like the way it can find independent weather stations, though the forcasts appear to still come from "official" weather stations. My biggest problem is that this widget can rarely survive a computer restart without losing its settings, and the settings cannot be restored because something in the plist file or the widget itself gets corrupted. I don't want to have to delete all traces and reinstall this thing just to get it working again. [alert admin]

FunBooth 0.9 (Mac OS X)
This application does not work properly unless I remove my glasses. Then I can't see my Mac's screen. [alert admin]

Emory, If you want to put your products out in the world, learn to use your spellchecker. I don't care if you're only sixteen; you should have learned to spell by now. Your website and product descriptions look just plain unprofessional. [alert admin]

I admire John for being the last living user of WordPerfect Mac, and I also admire him for bundling it with SheepShaver. But gimme a break! Who wants to join a Yahoo group just to have a look at what he's done. Me neither. [alert admin]

Adobe Reader 8.0 (Mac OS X)
Hold on to version 7.x.x if you are on an Intel Mac (I haven't tested this on a PowerPC) and have any of Adobe's "Digital Editions" ebooks. Select Digital Editions from the File menu and you are taken to a webpage that has nothing at all to download. Sheesh, they could have at least waited until this bugmobile was ready for prime time! Sorry about posting multiple reviews. I kept getting "Bad response from server" messages. I'll probably get one of those when I submit this comment. :-(
