Happy Mac Command Line Phobia Defeater 0.0.0.0.0.0.1 (Mac OS X)
I've used this remarkable application since Friday, January 6, 2006 1:28 PM, and found that it not only meets all my needs, it exceeds my needs for meat, or something. Since using this application I have had sweeter breath, and my love life has been, well, lovely. I have inherited hundreds of millions of dollars from several long lost relatives in Nigeria. I have many fine replica watches. I could go on and on. But I won't go on and on. Just download this application. It will change your life. Is it April 1 already? [alert admin]

BlockAde Blitz! 1.0.1.3 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
Upon launching this app, I was presented with a black window. A couple more tries yielded the same result. Upon giving up, quitting, dumping in Trash, Trash would not empty because the application left some process running. I had to do a full Restart to get my Mac running properly again. Since this is a cross-platform application, I also tried to run their Linux version under VirtualBox/Ubuntu. Wouldn't run either. [alert admin]

WeatherCal 1.0 (Mac OS X)
For ten bucks you get a utility that goes to wunderground.com and snags the iCal feed of the four-day forecast for your area, a feat that anyone can do for FREE. Such a deal! [alert admin]

Adobe Flash Player 10.0.12.36 (Mac OS X)
I dunno whose fault it is, but the bottom line is that at least one site I go to frequently does not work at all with version 10, but downgrading back to version 9 makes everything nice again. The big feature of version 10 is supposed to be better security. I guess not working at all is the best security ever. [alert admin]

ChipWits II 10/18/07 (Mac OS X)
Oh man! ChipWits goes all the way back to the 128K Mac. This brings back some major memories. NOTE: This is not a review. I have not tried ChipWits II yet. I was just getting all nostalgic for a moment. [alert admin]

Weather Underground Weather Widget 1.42 (Mac OS X)
I'd really like to like this widget, but it's just too unstable. I like the way it can find independent weather stations, though the forcasts appear to still come from "official" weather stations. My biggest problem is that this widget can rarely survive a computer restart without losing its settings, and the settings cannot be restored because something in the plist file or the widget itself gets corrupted. I don't want to have to delete all traces and reinstall this thing just to get it working again. [alert admin]

FunBooth 0.9 (Mac OS X)
This application does not work properly unless I remove my glasses. Then I can't see my Mac's screen. [alert admin]

TablePod 1.1 (Mac OS X)
Emory, If you want to put your products out in the world, learn to use your spellchecker. I don't care if you're only sixteen; you should have learned to spell by now. Your website and product descriptions look just plain unprofessional. [alert admin]

My first thought was also wondering how legal the use of this application is. I can think of a number of ways to use it for fraudulent purposes, but have not come up with any legitimate uses yet.

Thanks to both of you for the direct links. Because of the gunky Internet access here, I get better results downloading moderate and large files using wget from the command line. It can be set to do as many retries as it needs.
