TomTom HOME 2.2.2.28 (Mac OS X)
This app has definitely gotten better, and a bit more stable. Before installing this, I installed the latest version on Windows thinking it would be better than the Mac version I had, but couldn't get it running. Turns out I had a slightly older Mac version, so I updated that and it works like a charm first try. I'd prefer something a little less simplistic, but I'm sure they have a user base that's pretty varied in tech background. [alert admin]

USB Missile Launcher NZ 1.4.7 (Mac OS X)
You guys really nailed it with this tool. However now I wish I'd ordered the Striker II w/ the laser. :( One minor issue...mine seems to sometimes get locked in firing mode, even though I've only clicked fire once. Abort gets things back to normal though, and it's definitely a minor inconvenience. I even had a spare iSight FW cam sitting around that's I've velco'd to the top! Perfect! Thanks again! Garmin WebUpdater 2.0.0.4 Beta (Mac OS X)
My PC version was giving me connection errors for some reason, so I downloaded this and gave it a try. Worked like a charm, although it's unfortunate it doesn't include the "additional updates" for maps and such. Once that's added, it will be one less thing I'll need my PC for... [alert admin]

iServe 1.0 (Mac OS X)
iMac G5 w/ File and iTunes sharing enabled. Widget doesn't seem to do anything, and appears as "not responding" in the Activity Viewer app. Update: removed and reinstalled and it's working! [alert admin]

Shimo 0.9.6.1 (Mac OS X)
This app looks great and the dev's site appears to be well put together and well intentioned, but I'm curious if this software has been peer reviewed at all? I'm a bit concerned about using this for business purposes (or even personal for that matter). For all I know, it could just be a Trojan for harvesting login info. [alert admin]

Cisco VPN Client 4.9.01 (0080) (Mac OS X)
as annoying as it is, I can kinda understand...
Be careful downloading VPN clients from questionable sources. Who knows what that software may do with your login info? To say nothing of the other malicious intent that's possible with an installer. [alert admin]

GPGMail 1.1.2 (Mac OS X)
issues w/ PC users running PGP 9.5.1/Outlook
This app works great with other Mac users running GPG, but recently I've had to interact with someone using the commercial PGP v. 9.5.1 and Outlook, and it's not quite as smooth. I'm unsure if this is an issue with GPGMail or with GPG 1.4.5 itself, or more probably, Outlook/Windows. I have GPG configured to not automatically decrypt, so when I click the decrypt button on an encrypted message, nothing happens, until I click to a different message, then back to the encrypted message. When I click back, the message is decrypted, albeit with quite a few "=20" linefeeds. Encrypted messages with attachments just don't work at all. Just for fun I'm going to install GPG and Thunderbird on a Windows box and see how the interaction goes. [alert admin]

As previously indicated, it already syncs, no problem. This is to add support for their latest phones, not old ones.
