MacJanitor 1.3 (Mac OS X)
I used MacJanitor all the time until I upgraded to Leopard. It appears to run, but produces error messages such as "no such file or directory". [alert admin]

I downloaded 8.1 and it does the same thing--quits at launch.

Quits within seconds of launching
Reader 8.0.0: Same with me--Power PC G5 and quits on launch. Works fine on my PowerMac G4. I'll see if 8.1 is any better.
