Explore! 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I haven't played it much, but I love the style of the graphics. Seems to be a game cut from the traditional fabric. Not exactly live-action, but… Full disclosure: I know the creator of the game. [alert admin]

Missile Command 0.9 (Mac OS X)
A classic. This version captures the spirit of the original (and other versions) well. Everyone, young and old, can enjoy this game whether or not they played the B&W version back in the day. Full disclosure: I know the developer. It hasn't impaired my judgement. ;-). [alert admin]

Can Combine Icons 3.0.5 (Mac OS X)
My name is David Remahl and I am the developer behind Can Combine Icons. There were serious issues on my side during spring/summer 2005. Due to technical difficulties as well as changes in my professional life, some customer mail bounced or went unanswered. These problems have been resolved. The people who tried to register during this time have been fully refunded according to their wishes. Registrations are now processed promptly. A new version of the program is in the late stages of development. Unfortunately, the source that was used for 3.0.5 has been partially lost. Therefore it is not feasible to fix minor bugs in that version. While CCI 4 will be a paid upgrade, anyone who registers now will receive a complimentary upgrade. In the future, reference this note and a previous CCI 3 registration during 2005 in order to qualify for the free upgrade. I hope that this note will disperse rumors of ITTPOI's demise, and that people will consider registering the program and upgrading in the future. Also, my apologies to those who are experiencing minor flaws in CCI 3.0.5. If you are bothered by them, please contact me at david@ittpoi.com, and I will do my best to help find a work-around. Think Ahead X 0.9.3 (Mac OS X)
Disclaimer: I'm friends with the developer. This is a fun game, true to the original. I like the colour coding too. Looking forward to a version with a better AI player. There are some minor quirks which will surely be solved before 1.0.0. Changing the size of the board may be an interesting idea to toy with. As would a multi-player version, possibly even with 3 (or 4!) dimensions ;-). The only problem I've got is that the game seems severely skewed to the advantage of the player that gets to go first... Bubblegym 0.1 (Mac OS X)
This concept has great potential for future games! I'm not overly fond of anything RealBasic, but as a proof of concept it's nice. Looking forward to future Cocoa versions in three dimensions :-). [alert admin]

AquaGrep 1.1.1 (Mac OS X)
are several thousand development hours. And it is free and available under a number of varying licenses. Then publicspace.net comes around, puts a graphical wrapper on it (<10 development hours) and charges $10 for it! While legal according to the grep licenses, I find that ethically dubious. MacBoot 1.0.3 (Mac OS X)
:-) About the only time I have a need to reboot, is to test a new version of MacBoot! ;-). (I == the author) [alert admin]

MacBoot 1.0.3 (Mac OS X)
the warning was clear. And you did have to click "Ignore warning" and click Proceed in a dialog which said that the program would modify a vital system file that could render your system unbootable. Anyway, there is no risk for ambiguities in the future - I removed the possibility of ignoring the warning. I'd appreciate it if you removed your unfavourable rating. [alert admin]

Keystrokes Pronouncer 1.0 (Mac OS X)
to take into account any modifiers. For example, if I press the comma key (dvorak layout) it sounds the same regardless of wether I hold down the shift key (it then produces a < sign). It also claims to "take very little memory, CPU and disk space". This minor utility is 2.3MB large, takes 4MB of private resident memory and constantly consumes ~1-4% of CPU on my 1GHz G4. Hi! There will be an update soon. I can't give you a date, because the source is held hostage by a Subversion repository, and Apache 2 does not play very well with Tiger yet. / Rgds, David Remahl

If you can find an icon of the older Apple logo, then you can just drag it to the well. The RAW files have to be in a specific format (8 bit, indexed). There are several sources for those files, for example resexcellence.com.

The bug you mention is now fixed in version 1.0.1. (VersionTracker's listings are still being updated.). Other updates will follow in a day or two, in version 1.1.

Yes it does! I (the developer) found it earlier today, and I have implemented the feature in DRDial now. Unfortunately, my PowerBook modem seems to not work (I never tried it before), so I haven't had a chance to try either. As soon as I get a chance to test it, I'll release an updated version (it would probably be called 1.1.0).

The app is back from the dead :-). The version that is now up for downloading is more or less the same that I have seeded to people that asked for the last few months. It should work very well. Great care is taken to make sure that the application does not do damage to your system.
