MBBench 1.0b2 (Mac OS X)
Just what I need at the moment. I would like to see peak (maximum) and average values numerically if possible. Also I would like to know about seek time. Thanks ! [alert admin]

SimpleChord 1.0 (Mac OS X)
I think it is a great utility for students and professionals too. I request a reverse algorithm, i.e. click on the notes to find the name of the chord. [alert admin]

Aquallegro 2.1 (Mac OS X)
Very nice, the obvious suggestion is to add MIDI support so that the user can attempt to play named intervals, notes and chords.. but I think it would be more fun and also a more effective way to learn if speech recognition were used... [alert admin]

CornerClick 0.0.1d1 (Mac OS X)
Fitt's Law describes the 5 fastest pixels to access from anywhere on the screen. The screen corners are numbers 2,3,4 and 5.... Only the pixel directly under the mouse at any given time is faster to access, and this is not a fixed point... It is not a new idea, just a forgotten one. MaxMenus slowed down my system. CornerClick does not. This gets a place next to LaunchBar, which is the highest compliment anyone could pay to an OSX GUI enhancement. [alert admin]

Melodyne 1.5 (Mac OS 9, Mac OS X)
the term "sound sculpting" to describe the processes involved with producing music on computers. Melodyne allows one do this almost literally, with a level of comfort and control that is unprecendented. This upgrade addresses all the criticisms I've read here so far. There is now a significantly cheaper version for project studios. (CRE8); so Melodyne is affordable too. [alert admin]

[i]1. On my AlBook, running 10.4.1, The info side of the widget shows a "done" button, but not a deck selector (as shown in the screen-shot).[/i] There are alpha versions that don't have the selection feature, you can find out the version from the Get Info box..If you have an earlier version of any widget installed and the file name is the same, then you need to drag a new downloaded version manually into…

Hi Dan; To select editions, click on the word "edition" or on the number itself. To select a new strategy from the currently selected edtion; click the center of a lower case "o" or "c" etc.. These targets are very easy to hit once you realize they are always there when strategy is displayed. The design makes it possible to flip through strategies just for fun; but the intended use is to be able to refer more than…
